Stark had had a good birthday weekend. There had been a party with friends and he'd spent yesterday with Summer and ended the day with a cooking class.
The cooking class had him giving Stabby an apologetic look as he walked in to the clinic. He also dropped off a donut in the tank before handing over the coffees he'd brought to the nurses. He wasn't going to mention the crab cakes but it still felt a little odd to be facing Stabby mere hours after consuming his brethren.
"Good birthday?" one nurse asked as they took their coffee.
"It was," Stark said easily, smiling. "Very good. Thank you."
The clinic was open, the crab had a donut he was eyeing a little suspiciously, and the alien was in.
