Class this morning had put Stark into a bit of a somber mood but he still showed up at the clinic bearing coffee and some Halloween themed donuts to share.
The nurses were, of course, all dressed in matching crab costumes.
And Stabby was... "he's a nurse?"
"A nurse shark. Didn't you see the fin?"
Stark shook his head. "But who are the others? The colorful ones?"
"It's October 31st. They're Halloween Crabs. What else would they be? And why didn't you dress up?"
As if on cue a localized plastic spider shower rained down on Stabby's tank and he and his guests started arranging their new decorations. Stark was saved from answering the question. For the moment.
The clinic was open, the alien was in, there were extra crabs, and it was raining candy and toy spiders.
