Fandom Clinic, Tuesday

So that... sure had been a week last week, huh? Will didn't know why those people had been so focused on him ~finding love~ again, but he was glad they were gone.

When they'd first arrived, and started cornering him with details about his life they should have no way of knowing, all that anxiety he'd felt during the time the Burkes had been after him came rushing back. But then it had been replaced by that preoccupation with love, which was just weird.

At least things were back to normal, now. Including the nurses all ribbing him for the way he'd acted over the weekend. Sigh.

The nurses yesterday had been fairly insistent that Stark ought to reconsider the idea of rabies shots, or at least talk to the doctor about it, after yet another wildlife encounter. So he'd come back to the clinic today to do that, even though he didn't think it was entirely necessary.

"I was told," he said, "that woodchucks can carry rabies too."

That was a way to start a conversation, sure.

"There were woodchucks," Stark said. "They chased me into the bar. On Friday."

It had been a weird weekend, Will!

"Knocked me over." Because that's what the fans wanted, Stark getting mildly injured and de-masked. "Took my mask. Maybe they learned from the raccoons?"
stykera: (scruffy and concerned)

Stark gave a helpless shrug in response.

"Not that I know of. I don't...I don't think I did anything to any of them. This just happens. It never used to." Wildlife attacks had never been a problem until fairly recently. Usually it was people trying to hurt him!

"No bites," Stark said. "I don't know about scratches. I don't think so but they did get my mask off. There could have been? I didn't notice anything." And neither had anyone else that evening, ahem. "Just bruises from being knocked down."
stykera: (tapping mask)

"There seemed to be a lot of missing shirts this weekend." Just a bit of an understatement there. "Travis gave me his that night, to cover my face."

It had made perfect sense at the time.
stykera: (all wrapped up)

The shirt resulted in a pretty shirtless firefighter. That was way better than a cupcake scarf!

"It was," Stark said, with a hint of a smile. "It's better not to leave it uncovered. Especially if I'm not ready. Even cloth helps, sometimes."
