Fandom Clinic, Monday 3/7
His phone said it was Monday, and so Stark had gone into the clinic even though it had been a few weeks (longer for him) since he had shown up for a shift. He wasn't entirely certain he was still supposed to be working on Mondays but the nurses could tell him to go if his presence wasn't needed, or wanted.
He hoped he was still wanted here.
He'd brought coffee and a pastry assortment with him for the nurses thinking that at least it might serve as an apology for disappearing without a word to anyone who worked here, even if they told him to leave after he delivered it.
"Huh. You came back," was all that was said to him. His offering was accepted and nobody told him to leave. He did see some money changing hands later in the day, though he didn't make a connection between that and his return.
The clinic was open, the alien was in, and trying to find ways to make himself useful.
