Fandom Clinic; Thursday [02/10].

Libby's study work that day seemed to involve reviewing a lot of unusual and bizarre emergency room cases, she assumed to give her a better idea of just how wide the breadth of possibilities truly was and how to think outside of the box, but she got the feeling that most of the stranger cases simply involved someone going and putting something somewhere that it definitely didn't belong, and reviewing these cases and having to come up with how she could have handled it if she were put in those scenarios was definitely doing a lot help her practice not being too squeamish! And among all the ones that made her wince and cringe just thinking about them, there were a few oddly fascinating ones, and she couldn't help thinking of the fact that some of these were probably nothing compared to some of the odd and strange things the nurses here at the Fandom Clinic had to deal with, and, so honestly? She hurried through her worksheets so that she could just ask them some of their stories, because that felt far more helpful and engaging than just reading about them.

To think, at one point in her life, she thought Littles sticking Legos up their noses would be the worst of it, too!

The Clinic is open!

Will absolutely had plenty of those stories, Libby.

He also had a hot chocolate as a sort of 'sorry for temporarily abandoning you' offering.

"Quiet day so far?" he asked, like he hadn't just rolled in looking like he'd lost a fight (with a car) recently.

"Got hit by a car," he explained, for what felt like the dozenth time that day. Will, you showed up all injured, of course people were going to ask. "I'm fine, though. Been checked out already." He was leaving out the part where he'd ignored the fluid in his lungs a bit too long, though.

"The day before yesterday, at the hospital I w- used to work at, and... probably," that last was said with at least a touch of self-awareness. "But I wanted to swing by and say hi."

To be entirely fair, now, Libby, it was less 'boys' and more 'medical professionals made terrible patients' (Hi there, charge nurse Maggie 'I donated my kidney two weeks ago but here I am running triage at a mass casualty site' Lockwood).

"Bossy," he tsked at her, but it wasn't in a disapproving way. "How about we take over one of the exam rooms and drink these," he held up the hot chocolates, "and you can fill me in on what I've missed however handwavily, and then I'll go- home." Forgive him if he stumbled over that last word, he was still getting used to the idea of Fandom being more than temporary.
