Fandom Clinic; Thursday [02/10].
Libby's study work that day seemed to involve reviewing a lot of unusual and bizarre emergency room cases, she assumed to give her a better idea of just how wide the breadth of possibilities truly was and how to think outside of the box, but she got the feeling that most of the stranger cases simply involved someone going and putting something somewhere that it definitely didn't belong, and reviewing these cases and having to come up with how she could have handled it if she were put in those scenarios was definitely doing a lot help her practice not being too squeamish! And among all the ones that made her wince and cringe just thinking about them, there were a few oddly fascinating ones, and she couldn't help thinking of the fact that some of these were probably nothing compared to some of the odd and strange things the nurses here at the Fandom Clinic had to deal with, and, so honestly? She hurried through her worksheets so that she could just ask them some of their stories, because that felt far more helpful and engaging than just reading about them.
To think, at one point in her life, she thought Littles sticking Legos up their noses would be the worst of it, too!
The Clinic is open!

He also had a hot chocolate as a sort of 'sorry for temporarily abandoning you' offering.
"Quiet day so far?" he asked, like he hadn't just rolled in looking like he'd lost a fight (with a car) recently.
Re: The Front Desk - 02/10.
"Quiet so far!" she remarked, standing up from where she was sitting and wondering if she should get one of the nurses or go help him out herself. "Dr. Halstead! I thought you-- Didn't you-- Are you okay?" She was definitely coming out from around the desk now for a better look. "What happened?"

The only thing really saving him, really, was the fact that there were no cars on the island, so, clearly, it hadn't been that recent.
So dubious was brought down to wary, and she considered his wounds with skepticism before asking, "When did it happen? Where did you get it check out? Shoudln't you be resting?"

"Well, then," Libby said, "hello, Dr. Halstead. It's very nice to see you again. Now will you please go home and rest, or, barring that, I'm sure you'll find the beds in the exam rooms surprisingly comfy."
Re: The Front Desk - 02/10.
"Bossy," he tsked at her, but it wasn't in a disapproving way. "How about we take over one of the exam rooms and drink these," he held up the hot chocolates, "and you can fill me in on what I've missed
however handwavily, and then I'll go- home." Forgive him if he stumbled over that last word, he was still getting used to the idea of Fandom being more than temporary.
