The holiday had been an excellent excuse to stay inside the apartment(s) for few days, especially after the events of last weekend. The fireplaces had been an extra incentive to stay put and Stark had been a little disappointed yesterday to find his wasn't there any longer. He'd rather liked the little star lights as well but he thought those could be purchased if he wanted them again. A fireplace was more complicated to add to the existing apartment(s) where he spent his time.

But the holiday was over, mostly, until the next one in a few days and having a clinic shift today was actually a good excuse to come out of the apartment(s) for a little while. Staying in for a few days had been lovely but he couldn't do that all the time. Probably. So he'd stopped off at the Perk for peppermint coffees for himself and the nurses working today and was now hanging out discussing how everyone's Christmas had been and if there were plans for New Years.
