Fandom Clinic, Tuesday
Will had been extremely relieved to wake up and find out that today was not Friday. That they'd jumped from Friday to Tuesday somehow both made sense and didn't.
The lack of gunshots everywhere was also a relief, no word of a lie.
[ooc: The BDE ran away with the OCD, but the clinic is open!]

So there he was, walking into the clinic of his own free will under his own power.
"Hey Will," he said with a slight smile as he entered. "And don't worry I'm not shot this time" he added with a laugh.

He was still trying to wrap his head around the whole ‘time loop’ thing, honestly.

"Just wanted to stop by and make sure you survived the time loop madness alright."

He remembered Dwight being shot once, obviously.
(Was there maybe a little teensy part of him just a tiny bit put out that there was no evidence of all the hard work he'd done to get that bullet out? Well, he'd never say so.)

"I'd say it sucks that I don't remember the details, but yeah.... I'm glad I don't remember it all to be honest." He caught Will's gaze and gave him a slightly sympathetic smile. "I'm sure you're work was great though doc. And... sorry if I was a bull of a patient. I've been told I can kinda slip back into military mode at times like that."

“He-hello?” she said nervously.
[Prompto modded with kind permission!]

“I…” she hesitated, looking back to Prompto for reassurance who gave her hand a tight squeeze and she turned back to face Will, “um…the last few days .. the time loop…I …” it came out in a nervous babble, “it … I … think … “
She wasn’t sure how to explain the whole, ‘I killed someone with my powers and got arrested and am now not coping well at all’ part. “I was … “ she tried again, “I was looking to do a check up,” she finally got out after much stammering, “um … it’s …I … ” her voice trailed off again, "I've not been coping well," she finally admitted.

Prompto offered back a wave of greeting from the hand that wasn’t currently being being squeezed by Liz’s.
“Okay,” she finally nodded, trembling slightly despite herself.

[ooc: anything you want him to pick up on during this thread? full disclosure he’s definitely more equipped to treat the physical rather than the mental/emotional!]

[her physical symptoms are from the shock that she's been experiencing - so her breathing and her heart rate in particular if Will wanted to pick that up. So it's the general shock plus some ill effects from the excessive drinking that she did the previous day]

"While they're doing that, I'm going to get you hooked up to the heart monitor and then we'll take a listen to your lungs, just make sure everything's working properly, okay?" From there he'd decide if x-rays were necessary, but he was betting not.

She had had bad experiences with needles before but Prompto was here with her, it was going to be okay. She tried to reassure herself.
Prompto gave her hand another comforting squeeze for reassurance.

NPCnurse got the needle ready, Will asked Liz, "So, the Photo Hut, huh? You're a photographer?"He'd noticed the nervousness, and hoped talking to her would keep her distracted enough that she wouldn't focus on the needle.
[ooc: also, a medical professional i am not, i just play one in RP, so all tests and etc are very very handwavey ;)]

She nodded, “It, it’s only recently turned into a career,” she said, trying to keep her focus on Will, she trembled slightly but otherwise was relatively calm as she tried to wait out the blood tests, “I … I needed a change from my … previous job,” which considering her previous job had been working as a government agent for a secret agency that protected the public from the paranormal, it was quite the career change.
“But I’ve always been into photography,” she told him, “ever … ever since I got my first camera when I was 10,” it was the most animated she’d been in the last few days.
[lol, it’s all good :)]

"I didn't really have any hobbies as a kid," he admitted. "Unless you count patching my brother up after he got into a fight." ... And also himself. He'd done a lot of first aid on himself when he was younger.

It had been nearly ten years that was more than a while.

“I…” she hesitated again, “there were complications with my last job,” she finally said, it was rather an understatement, “I … it … I couldn’t stay after what happened,” she paused again, “Fandom … it was one of the few alternatives I had,” her other choice had been a psychiatric hospital so it really hadn't been much of a choice in the end.

(Although his not-Fandom option had been Arizona, rather than a psychiatric hospital, but he would've been under constant lockdown as opposed to the relative freedom he had here.)
"I get it," he said with a nod. And then hummed thoughtfully as the nurse handed back Liz's test results. "You're a little dehydrated," he told her. From drinking, he suspected, but that was neither here nor there, his job was just to fix the problem. "I want to get you started on some fluids, if that's okay?" he nodded towards the IV bag the nurse brought in.

“Oh …um … o...okay,” she finally managed to stammer.

“I .. I can do that,” Liz nodded slowly and attempted to follow suit, she breathed in and out. The first attempt was rather uneven and shaky but she tried again, looking at Prompto who demonstrated again and she tried to focus on her breathing so that it was more steady.
