Fandom Clinic, Saturday
"Coffee and cocktails," Jenkins mused, as the emergency broadcast ended. "You know, that's a new one even for me."
Then he went to go check on the clinic's coffee supplies, and order several gallons more as needed.

Patient intake
Re: Patient intake
Sorry about the hug, Jenkins. It was just a lot of relief.
Re: Patient intake
"Ms. Verity. I'm glad to see you're alright. Are you here to visit one of our unfortunate patients?"
Re: Patient intake
Everyone had been awake and non-comatose when she'd left!

Which meant it was about twenty minutes after the broadcast that Norman made his way into the clinic, a little wide-eyed, uncertainly holding on to a few trays of extra large coffees. He had a tab at the Perk, now, to be paid off after his own first payday, but the barista had been pretty understanding, all things considered.
"Does anybody need these?"
Whether they were comatose or had simply been up for the past two nights worrying?

Re: Patient intake
Norman hadn't done any drinking, if that was what Jenkins was asking. He looked faintly quizzical as he handed one of the coffee trays over.

"Hey," she said, slipping into a chair next to Liam's bed and carefully taking on of his hands in hers. "C'mon, Sheriff, asleep on the job? That's not gonna look good come performance reviews."

And probably about to awaken to the realization that he could never bad-mouth Earth coffee again.
Re: Patient beds
Hera had brought a very large coffee and was now...more or less sitting behind Kanan to prop him up enough to hopefully get some of it in him.
“Hey, Kanan. I know it’s not caf, but this is supposed to work,” she encouraged him. “I should probably make some comment about this teaching you not to drink, but honestly who would’ve thought any of that would end up like this? Drink the coffee and get better so you can worry about the rest if you want to.”
Re: Patient beds
Yup. Awake and trying to get up a lungful of coffee. Good morning.

Look, she was young and anxious, but she wasn't an idiot, okay?
She skidded to a stop once she got into sight of Kanan and bit her lip.
"Um," she said. "So. Hey."
Re: Patient beds
And grinned faintly.
"Hey," he offered. "I see you came armed for rancor."
He approved. Those things were pretty wicked.

"Kanan! You're okay!"
Either that, or it was an impostor who knew to text her, which, coming from someone who was replaced by a robot for more than a month, seemed a totally legit possibility.
She stopped short of getting too close, though, not sure what condition he was in no matter how much she wanted to just rush over there and hug him. Stance, on the other hand, had no such reservations, let out a happy bark, and jumped on the bed well before Summer or the nurses or anyone else could stop him.
Re: Patient beds
... Which was one way to get the last of the coffee out of his beard, sure.
"I'm okay, but I think my dog's trying to eat me," he laughed, his words coming out in halting fits and starts as Kanan carefully timed them around moments where he was least likely to end up with a mouthful of dog tongue. "Stance, buddy, it's fine. I'm fine."

Re: Patient beds
She figured seeing her student first thing was at least a small step up from seeing a random nurse. It took a little bit of trial and error, a small coffee spill, and a quick sketch in a notebook, but she finally figured out a good way to get Amaya upright enough to get the coffee into her without her drowning in it.
"C'mon, teach," Tip said softly. "You've got more weapons to make."
