FTEC, Friday (1/10)
John had spent the past few weeks trying to figure out how to best describe this place he'd wound up in, for his blog. In the process, many a placeholder post had gone up.
If he was going to be entirely honest, he'd been avoiding letting Harry know where he was so she wouldn't turn up for Parents' Weekend the way Mycroft had. Now, though, he was out of subconscious excuses, and so during his shift at the clinic, he'd been writing. His new netbook was most useful in that regard. I've moved to the strangest, most mysterious--
You have one message.
He sighed and clicked the blog away.
Oh come on tell me where you are!!
You're still with that Sherlock bloke aren't you?? Are you sure you haven't hopped the fence?
Harry Watson
John banged his head on the desk. He was so very, very glad his sister wasn't here.

No matter what his sister, Sherlock's brother, half of Scotland Yard and most of the restaurant owners in London might have thought.

Funny, that seemed to happen to a lot of people around him.

"He does have a habit of that," said John, who was really trying not to go it's true? because all right, that was a bit of a mind twister. "I'm a bit surprised no one's tried to hit him yet, truth be told."

He should know.

Except when she was in his presence, and then the urge to wish a large rock to fall out of the sky and land on him was difficult to resist.

"Really?" he hence asked, quirking a brow in doubt.

Though he had no idea about what to do with the information that apparently Sherlock's lack of empathy and emotions towards others took a bit of a day off around him.

"Yes."
Or he could just state the obvious.
"I mean, he's not a bad man." John had to say that, if simply because of his continuing discomfort at certain Met officer's convictions regarding the likelihood of Sherlock turning into a serial killer. "But if you're going to deal with him, you have to accept that there are some things he just won't understand."

She paused, then added, "Unless perhaps I could heal him of his affliction." Your sociopathy, give it to her.

Yes, he had a therapist. What of it.
"...I don't think it works like that."

No, Raven.

"It's a part of who he is," he said, finally. "Frustrating as he may be."
He was a little surprised by how uncomfortable he felt about the thought of a kinder, calmer Sherlock. "It's not an injury."
