FTEC, Friday (1/10)

John had spent the past few weeks trying to figure out how to best describe this place he'd wound up in, for his blog. In the process, many a placeholder post had gone up.

If he was going to be entirely honest, he'd been avoiding letting Harry know where he was so she wouldn't turn up for Parents' Weekend the way Mycroft had. Now, though, he was out of subconscious excuses, and so during his shift at the clinic, he'd been writing. His new netbook was most useful in that regard. I've moved to the strangest, most mysterious--

You have one message.

He sighed and clicked the blog away.

Oh come on tell me where you are!!

You're still with that Sherlock bloke aren't you?? Are you sure you haven't hopped the fence?
Harry Watson

John banged his head on the desk. He was so very, very glad his sister wasn't here.

Raven felt she owed Watson a better apology than what she'd said in the library, especially after talking to Anakin, so Friday morning she headed down to the clinic. "Dr. Watson?" she said hesitantly as she stepped inside.

"I wished to offer you an apology," Raven said, shaking her head. "What I said in the library was rude and an improper use of my gifts and I should not have done such a thing."

"What I said about his feelings was true," Raven clarified helpfully. "But I should not have tried to imply anything about it. Professor Sherlock upset me enough that I was not thinking as clearly as I should."

Funny, that seemed to happen to a lot of people around him.

Raven frowned a tiny bit. "I told Professor Skywalker what I did," she said, "and I know he went to see Professor Sherlock Wednesday according to the radio. There may have been punching involved." Because she knew Anakin.

"That is a relief," Raven said. "Professor Skywalker can be very...forceful in the defense of his students. And while I do not like Professor Sherlock, I do not wish harm upon him."

Except when she was in his presence, and then the urge to wish a large rock to fall out of the sky and land on him was difficult to resist.

"I am a pacifist," Raven said. "Though he sorely tests my beliefs."
trigons_child: (Not quite buying this)

"But why?" Raven said, her brow furrowing with confusion. "Why is he so unpleasant to others?"

"It is a personality disorder, is it not?" Raven said. "I have heard the term, but I am not entirely familiar with what it means."

"And I am an empath," Raven said, frowning more at the description. "He is almost the opposite of me." And somewhat terrifyingly so.

"I do not intend to deal with him if I can help it," Raven said, though she was concerned about someone who grew bored easily and had no control over their emotions. She knew it was a dangerous combination. "He makes me feel very uncomfortable, and he has already caused me to do things I regret." Causing John distress and almost losing her temper. "I will not let such things happen again."

She paused, then added, "Unless perhaps I could heal him of his affliction." Your sociopathy, give it to her.

"I can heal almost anything," Raven said. She hated saying "almost" now. "Any injury to the body, mind, or spirit. I think it would merely be the matter of healing his brain."

No, Raven.

"But it is not healthy," Raven said. "Though you need not worry, I would never force a healing upon him."
