FTEC, Sunday [8/8]

Ellie had been at the clinic since yesterday. The entire time, really. She was there mostly in case extra medical staff was needed, considering the latest craziness. It had been a petty restless few days, too. She had been too anxious with worry about everyone who was missing, especially her brother.

The clinic, at least, kept her somewhat distracted.

When the tears no longer gave up any more people, Beka had gotten up. She'd wanted to go find Jonas, both relieved that he wasn't among the folk returning and worried at what it might mean otherwise. None of the groups had spoken of someone being left behind, so she took that as good news.

She'd go find him in a moment, once she had the two blackened wounds on her left arm and shoulder looked at. It'd not do to scare him looking the way she did right now.

She glanced around the lobby for someone to help, a little nervous as this world's medicine was unfamiliar to her and she was wishing for her own world's healers.

A lot and it made her dizzy to think of it.

The wounds were wrapped with dirty, torn up sheets. Two slashes; one on her left arm and one on her left shoulder. It looked much like someone had attacked her with a hot poker. Except that it had been hooks instead of pokers.

"It happened a day ago," she said. "We were attacked by a group of beings, they fell from the ceiling on top of us and had steel weapons as if they'd been held in a fire too long. I tried to clean it, but there wasn't much beside water."
