“One day,” Ino muttered at the scroll she had open on the front desk and was studying, “you will make sense. Eventually. Or else I’m going to have to burn you.”
The scroll was rather unaffected by this threat. She settled a bit more comfortably into her chair, wondering idly if she really was going to get waffles today—and how weird would that be, getting waffles while at work?—and focused her attention, once more, onto the scroll.
