Ino was...

Not Happy. There were poisonous creatures, and a lot of them, around today. Talk about, like, severely bad timing?

Not that she was panicky about her very first shift at the clinic and rather desperately hoping that no one came in and expected her to deal with de-poisoning them. What if they did?! What was she supposed to do?

She didn’t even have the least bit of an idea about where to start curing poison. There was a lot of flailing going on in the clinic during the day while Ino tried to get an idea of where stuff was (and had to ask about what half of it even was to begin with) and constantly pestering the nurses with questions.

And yet, still, totally not panicking. Totally not. Really. Honest.

...maybe a little. Or a lot. She knew basic first aid! She could heal bruises and cuts! This did not mean she magically knew a lot about the whole healing thing. She wasn’t a medic.

What had she been thinking? Oh. Right. Orders.

...stupid Cable-san. Thanks a lot.

There was a bit of a woomph of displaced air -- not much, the mark of a decent teleporter -- right outside the door, and then Ronan stepped through into the lobby. "Hey," he said, with a smile. "Interesting creatures outside today."

"Interesting is one word for them," Ino said darkly. "You're not, like, bitten, or doomed, or hurt, or anything like that are you?"

"Nope," Ronan said. "Just wanted to stop in and see how your first shift was going. And, given the... interesting creatures, see if you needed any help. No one's come running in?"

"No one!" Ino said vehemently. "And it had better stay that way, seriously. Or I'll... I'll... really have no idea what to do." Yeah.

But, really, it was kinda sweet that he'd thought to do that.

"Lee still around?" he asked, curious. "Or did he check out last night?"

"No one is here," she assured him. "So I'm going with the checking out happened, yes." She was pretty sure she'd read that on... one of those check out forms.

The flailing of Ino had there already been a patient in the clinic when she'd arrived that morning would have been epic otherwise.

"Great," he said. "Which was probably a relief for you, right?" He chuckled a bit. "So, I guess you got shown around the clinic, right? Any questions about things here?"

"The nurses think I'm annoying," Ino told him after giving him a Look that expressed, in her opinion, how ridiculous it was that he was asking if she was relieved. Yes, yes she was. Very much so. "And there was... some showing around in the form of me stalking the nurses, but nothing, uh, formally."

"Oh, really? I'll give you a bit of a tour, then," he offered. "... I should mention, too, the second drawer down on the left." Ronan grinned. "In case anyone comes looking for them, that is."

He pointed at the drawer, for her to open it and take a look.

"Tours are nice and shiny," she said, looking dubiously at him (the grin, it was suspicious) then going to open the drawer.

"No," Ino said, flailing and flailing hard, "people can go and buy their own! Or, or steal them from their roommates, or whatever! I do not need to know when people are restocking their condom supply, seriously. Seriously, honestly, totally, definitely not."

"We provide a valuable service, offering these," Ronan said. "Not everyone can afford to buy their own. Or has a roommate from whom they can get them." He shrugged. "For that matter, there's the fact that we offer confidentiality -- not something necessarily offered by a store."

"I am so disturbed," Ino said, looking torn between hilarity and flailing more. "I did not need to know that we had a drawer full of condoms here. And that people come in and ask for them."

"Well, really, you did," Ronan said, smirking. "In case anyone does come in and ask for them. It could be worse," he added. "I know some places that just put them out in a basket on the desk."

That got a bit of a strangled laugh. That was true. Now she knew and now she could pretend that no one ever was going to come in and ask about them.

"It's all nice and shiny that people are getting laid, but I seriously do not need to know about it unless I'm involved."

Seriously. A beat.

That got a snort of laughter from Ronan. "Well, the condom are there for you, too," he said. "In case you have need. Which reminds me." He leaned over the desk and grabbed a handful from the drawer.

"I hate you," Ino said, though her voice lacked venom. "You're totally just doing this to break my brain. The clinic is so not the place for me to be finding out about who needs condoms, and how often."

"Well, not entirely," Ronan said, grinning. "But okay, yes, at least in part. Want the rest of the tour now?"

He led her back towards the exam rooms, to give her the tour.

If you wind up here there are No Words for how Not Happy Ino will be. Or how flaily she’ll be. Which will only make her grumpier.

It would be... And yet I'm sad I can't really think of a reason for Ichigo to wind up in the clinic. It's not like he'd be smart enough even if he needed to...

...though she says that if he ever gets his stupid ass killed because he didn't go to the clinic she'll kill him again. Yes.
