FTEC -- Saturday, February 02 -- Day Shift.
After coming in, checking the state of things, and settling at the front desk, Adah tried not to get too distracted by sulking over the fact that her roommate not bothering to return to the room after her date last night seemed like a terribly missed opportunity. One that she liked to think would have staved off her dreams of electric green snakes with sky-blue mouths and six-toed footprints surrounding the ashes in which her little baby sister lay, staining her red-blonde curls.
