The clinic was open, and Christian was behind the front desk, ready for his consultation later that day.

[Order management about to hit, so I will be radio silent until 11:30 - noonish.

The doctor is in.

Annette was there right on time, if not looking slightly nervous and unsure of herself. "Good afternoon, Dr. Troy."

"Good afternoon," Christian said, looking Annette over and wondering what she wanted done. "Relax, sweetheart, this is just a consultation."

"It's my first ever; I'm a little nervous," she tried to smile.

"You're in the hands of the best," Christian said, standing up. "So shall we step into my office (http://community.livejournal.com/fandom_clinic/395099.html?thread=9153883#t9153883)?"

Annette took a seat and folded her hands in her lap, appreciating that he was being so nice and professional. She was quiet though, not really knowing what to say until he asked her whatever doctors asked in these sorts of consultations.

"So," Christian said, settling behind his desk. "Tell me what you don't like about yourself."

"I'm not sure how correctly I can answer that, Dr. Troy," she began. "It's not as though I do not like myself, more of what I can improve on." She paused, leaned forward slightly, and lowered her voice. "I think my backside is... you know, sliding a little." It wasn't, but Annette just had these ideas in her head.

Christian nodded, making marks on the drawing of a woman's form he had on his desk before him. "A little lipo will take care of that," he said. "What else?"

Annette blinked. "But... do you think I need it?"

"Everyone can stand some improvement," Christian said. "I can make you a perfect 10."

She seemed to consider that. "My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy."

"Why?" Christian said. "Because he's a coward who can't admit that some things can be improved on? Because he's afraid you'll kick him out of bed for being honest?"

"He said that if I become skinny obsessed to let him know so he can smoke weed and basically zone himself out. I guess he thinks I don't need it. It's a very touchy subject, Dr. Troy. I can't talk to him about it anymore. Do you think that he won't want to...be with me anymore?"

"Is this the gay boyfriend, or someone else?" Christian asked.

"He's not gay!" Annette exclaimed. "Of course he's not."

"I don't get it," Christian said thoughtfully. "You said he wouldn't touch you before, and now you're worried if he won't touch you if you make yourself more beautiful for him?"

"I meant... did I say that? No, he touches me now," Annette was confusing herself. "He likes me the way I am now but if I change something, I'm afraid he won't like it. He said I could do whatever. I mean he's not the boss of me." She used Dick's words exactly.

Christian leaned forward. "It would be unethical for me to suggest you change or don't change something about you just for someone else," he said. "You have to want this for you." Or what he could convince her that she wanted, same difference.

"Yes, I know that. I wouldn't do it for anyone but myself." She thought. "Am I old enough? I don't need my parents consent, do I?"

"I'm sure we can work around that," Christian said. "I do work for the school, and the school has permission to perform necessary medical procedures on its students."

"Christian," Annette blinked. "I mean Dr. Troy, it's not exactly necessary. But when do you make those marks on my body so I can see just what will be done?"

"Plastic surgery can be necessary for confidence and self-esteem," Christian said. He stood up. "If you can strip down to your underwear, I can show you what I think should be done."

"Right here in your office?" Annette said hesitantly as she came to her feet slowly. "Um. Okay..." Confidence would be great about right now. She unzipped her skirt in the back and let it drop to the floor, stepping out of it as she looked over at him.

"Don't worry," Christian said encouragingly. "No one can see you in here, not even the squirrels."

[heading home from work now, back in 45 minutes or so!]

She smiled a little; no squirrels was a very good thing. "I hope I'm not too much of a mess... I'm a cheerleader you know and try and keep in shape."

Christian cocked his head and studied her. He picked up a red non-permanent marker and circled her. "Yes, I can see a few problem areas," he said.

"Oh-no," she mumbled, looking down as he marked. "Am I... fat?"

"You're not obese, sweetheart," Christian said. He drew a big circle on her belly, then on the outside of her thighs. "You could use some lipo here, here, and here."

Annette's mouth fell open as she stared down at the big red circles. "Omigod I'm a disaster!"

"Nothing that can't be fixed," Christian said, circling around her and drawing more circles on the backs of her thighs. He moved in front of her again, staring down at her chest before making curved lines over the tops of her breasts. "Implants, move you up a size," he said, then studied her face.

"Buh... I... wha... " Annette looked down at her chest, at those lines, then looked up at him.

Christian took her chin in his hand. "Do you use sunscreen? You should, every day. Let's see, we can straighten your nose a bit while we're at it."

"I... might forget sometimes. What's wrong with my nose? But... I... " Annette was beginning to flail. "I... this is not what I thought... you are... well, you're just getting out of control here, Dr. Troy!"

Christian raised an eyebrow. "You wanted a consultation, sweetheart," he said. "If you're not willing to do what it takes to be perfect. . . ."

Annette swallowed hard. "I...didn't think it would take so much work." She blinked slowly and looked away from him. "I'm going to have to think about this, Dr. Troy. Dick likes my boobs."

Christian shrugged. "Go ahead and think about it," he said. "When you're ready to do what it takes, you know where to find me."

"All right," Annette felt sorry for any girl he was ever with. She wondered if they measured up to his idea of perfect. She was feeling like crap, she knew that.

"I'll... let you know." She pulled on her skirt and zipped it up then turned to leave. "Oh," she said, looking back over her shoulder at him. "Is there a charge for this consultation?"

"On the house," Christian said, waving his hand dismissively. "For the surgeries themselves -- we'll talk."

"One more thing - one to ten, what am I?"

"Right now?" Christian looked her over. "You're an eight."

"An eight." she nodded. "Thank you, Dr. Troy." An eight wasn't so bad. Was it? Annette thought about this as she walked out and headed back to the dorms. An eight. Hmm.
