FTEC, Tuesday, July 17

Christian did a quick check of the clinic and was happy to find only one (?) patient remaining. He started going over the records from the weekend and was very pleased with the work the new student aides had done.

Taking Katara's 'stay the night' as tacit permission to leave in the morning, at first light Seely fled, fled!

Stan was here, thinking that it would have been a bad idea to hand out his card to everyone who was a guest here. He only had so many, after all.

He checked his appointment book and waited for his patients to arrive.

St. John meandered in that afternoon, ready for his appointment with his new doctor.

He only hoped this one was more interesting to talk to. The last guy could hardly understand him, and when he did, he wrote all of John's problems off as simple "Pyromania."

John knew he had pyromania. He didn't need to hear again. And again.

"What's up, doc?" He greeted Dr. Keyworth.

"Ah, Mr. Allerdyce. Come in. Have a seat." Stan's office was arranged with a group of fairly comfortable overstuffed chair and a very Freudian couch.

St. John sat on this Freud couch, making himself very comfortable via kicked-off trainers and crossing his arms beneath his head.

"How's it goin'?" He asked cordially.

[OoC: Sorry for the late response! Last minute RL stuff...]

"Things are well. Aside from a bit of adventure this weekend, that is. Did you have a part in it?" He frowned at the kicked-off shoes.

[No prob. I'm off to bed, as I'm up in 6 hours. SP tomorrow?]

"Ya mean the dinos? Nah, truth be told, after I told one to go be extinct and it gave me a look like, 'I'm gonna eat your head', I buggered off to my dorm and stayed there."

[Sure thing!]

"Probably a wise course of action," Stan said with a nod. "So what brings you in today?"

St. John allowed himself to ponder this question, simple as it was. He needed to make sure he didn't make an ass out of himself or his boss--who was the real reason he was there.

"Well, my...guardian thinks I've got some deep-rooted issues that are keeping me from being a 'team-player' as he calls it. And since he didn't want to deal with it personally, he told me to see you while I was here."

John began to flick the lid of his Zippo, Matilda, quietly in his pocket out of habit.
"Frankly, I think he's got a fine case of paranoia on his hands. Just 'cause the head-doctor in Juvie said I had problems, don't mean it's true, right?"

Ah, how St. John loved giving the shrink test! Drop enough hints about ones erroneous past, and judge how they react. Good fun!

"Yeah, besides, those chainstore fires were more heroic acts than arson. Krispy Kream was asking for it."

"And what did your previous therapist suggest as a diagnosis or course of action?" Stan could play games too.

"You're still here, so you must have gotten the best of it," he said with a nod. "How bad?"

"I got away. I don't count that quite as getting the best of it. I got clawed up in the back, spent two days in the clinic."
