Christian made the morning rounds of the clinic patients, then took his place behind the front desk, hoping that more kids wouldn't be brought in today.

Lana came in, still looking a bit pale and drawn. "I was wondering if I could see Phoebe halliwell."

Christian eyed Lana. "She's in Exam Two," he said. "No orgies in the clinic. Unless I'm involved."

Lana flushed uncomfortably and ducked her head before walking down to Exam Two.

Bel walked into the lobby. "Hey, can you see if Phoebe and Anders are okay to go back to the cabins?" he said, then realized who the doctor on duty was. Oh, great.

John had had his phone off last night so had only received Sam's handwavy message this morning. He had instantly headed for the clinic to check on his oldest son.

"I'm here for Dean Winchester," he said to the doctor behind the desk when he came in.

"He's in Exam Three, third door down the hall," Christian said.

"How is he?" John asked as Zoe came up behind him. "He's my son," he added in case there was any confidentiality crap that would keep him from getting a medical report.

Gwynn was here and resting. Hearing that a large group of friends and students had gone after the guy that hurt her so badly had eased her mind.

At some point in the middle of the night, a pillow had been slipped between Conner's head and neck and the back of the chair.

Bel was hoping Phoebe and Anders would be well enough to leave the clinic today. He was starting to get restless cooped up in this place.

So was Anders, who despite the restlessness was curled up close against Bel's side and half asleep.

He kind of had a feeling Bel was getting tired of sleeping on the crack, though.

Dean had actually had a pretty restful night between the post fight adrenaline crash and the drugs the pretty doctor had given him. But now he was getting a little restless. His shoulder still hurt, but it would hurt for a while yet and it could hurt just as easily back at the cabins as it could here.

He wondered what he needed to do to get sprung from this place.

John was relieved to see Dean awake and looking more or less in one piece, in spite of the bruises he could see and the sling his son was wearing.

He was less pleased about the wince Dean tried to hide as he reflexively straigthened and tried to sit up taller when he saw John.
