"Well, dammit." Anders tried to scowl, but amusement kept him from pulling it off with much success. "Tie 'em together with the big velcro blood pressure arm band thingies or something."

Bel began looking around for supplies. "There's some tubing," he said. "Could use that to tie things together." He paused to eye Anders's wrists thoughtfully, then ducked between the beds to investigate tying the beds together.

Phoebe hadn't seen the look, but she could imagine and she smirked a little.

She knew that James would probably *facepalm* when he saw how they were redecorating the clinic -- but she knew her sib would understand.

It was the others that worked in the clinic that she was worried might make her go back to her own room again.

Bel eased the beds together, lashing the frames and legs with whatever tubing and the like he could find. It seemed stable enough, at least. He scored an extra blanket from one of the empty exam rooms and folded it and put it over the middle so the crack would be padded.
