FTEC, Thursday Evening, April 12

The first thing Doogie did when he got to the clinic was check in on Steerpike and read through his file to make sure that he knew exactly what was going on. After that, he was up at the front desk, making occasional rounds back to the exam room.

Steerpike was attempting to read the book he'd found on his bedside table upon waking up yesterday evening. It wasn't really his preferred reading material though.

The scrap of note paper that was stuck between the pages was, though. It was, in fact, quite interesting. He'd have to figure out who had left it for him. That person might prove . . . problematic.
