Isobel wandered over to the clinic. Her host's memories told her that there'd once been some old witch working there who might well have left some of her things behind. And while a mortar and pestle weren't strictly necessary for the spell, it would be nice to work with them.
She smiled when she saw the doctor on duty. This one shouldn't be any problem and she could undoubtedly have a bit of fun as well. She took a moment to undo another button on the blouse she was wearing, then went in.
"Well, good morning, Dr. Troy," she said a little breathily. "It's so nice to see you. And you do seem to be in fine form this morning." She let her eyes linger over his body as she spoke.
"Probably a lot of things," Isobel said with a smile. "But at the moment I was wondering if the old woman who used to work with left any of her things behind. I'm looking for a mortar and pestle in particular, but any of her herbs would also be quite useful to me."
"There's an old supply closet with a bunch of crap in it," Christian said, waving his hand toward the door. "No idea if any of it is hers but feel free to look. The stuff's been there forever."
Christian had been about to tell her to do it herself. Seeing her bend over while searching might have been a possible motive, also, laziness. But he found himself heading to the closet himself. He rummaged through it and found a box with some creepy looking supplies in it. It was fairly dusty and probably older than anything Granny might've left behind, but it seemed to fit the bill, so he obediently brought the box back to Lana.
"My, aren't you a good boy," she purred as she looked through the box. "The herbs are probably too old to be much good, but the mortar and pestle will do quite nicely."
She tipped her head to one side and smiled at him. "Now I do think someone so good deserves a little reward, don't you?" She slipped up onto the counter and beckoned him toward her.
Now this was a little more like it. No mixed signals here. He moved toward Lana -- not like he had much choice in the matter anyway. "Got something in mind, sweetheart?" he grinned.
She pulled him in toward her, wrapping her legs around his waist. "A smart boy like you?" she said, tilting her head up to his. "Oh, I'm sure you're just full of ideas. And I'm here to make those ideas happen."
"It's your reward," she purred. "We can go wherever you want."
She didn't feel any need to mention that it was hers as well. After several hundred years she deserved someone who knew what they were doing and as her host's boyfriend had gone away to parts unknown, this would do quite well.
And Christian could definitely prove he knew what he was doing. "Right this way (http://community.livejournal.com/fandom_clinic/306255.html?thread=7909967#t7909967)," he said.
Isobel tugged him into the exam room. She waved a hand to close the door and make sure it couldn't be opened from the outside. "I'm all yours," she said huskily. "So tell me how you want your present."
Isobel's eyes glowed. Literally. "Oh yes, now that is very nice indeed. Now come over here and prove to me that you know how to use all of that loveliness."
Christian didn't care much about the glowing eyes because yay sex. He very enthusiastically proved to Lana he was quite talented with his hands and other body parts.
If this exam room's a rockin', don't come a-knockin'.

But she was cute, so he mentally shrugged. "Good morning," he said. "Can I help you with something?"

"This what you had in mind? Though, I do think it might be hard to fully check me out with all these clothes on," she said with a mock pout.

"Oh, but I might feel very uncomfortable being the only one naked here. Whatever could we do about that?"
