FTEC, Sunday Evening

Stark might have been a wee bit late getting to the clinic tonight, but there wasn't anyone to notice. Hopefully. Besides, he'd been at Zhaan's and that was worth being a little late.

So he settled in at the desk, switched on the TV, and hoped for a quiet sort of night.

"I need a checkup, I guess?" Peter said with a sheepish shrug. "Mostly I need Sam not to yell at me."

"Had a problem with my eyes the other day," Peter said. "She thought I should get it checked out at the clinic. So... here I am."

"I can take a look," Stark offered. "But I'm not exactly an expert on eyes. Not a doctor either. Just an aide. But I can take a look. What sort of problem?"

"I think I'm good with her if I just come in here," Peter said. "And it was - I dunno. Kind of a flashing? Like I was seeing lights and colors? It went away though."

"Won't take long," Stark assured him, holding up an penlight to make sure Peter could follow it. "Promise. It only happened the once? Did it hurt or there were just lights?"

Peter followed the light. "No pain. Bumped my head right before it happened but it didn't hurt."

Why did everyone on this island have to hit their heads?

"And it hasn't hurt since? You can see all right?" Stark pointed to a conviently placed, whee eyechart on the wall. "Can you read that?"

Peter peered over at the chart and read off the letters with no problem. "Nope. No pain, no problems seeing. Hasn't happened since."

"Well, you can tell Sam your eyes seem fine, to me," Stark said. "But if it happens again, come back and see someone. And try not to hit your head again. We get too many head injuries."
