FTEC - Saturday Evening Shift [1/13]
After spending a mandatory quiet day resting back at the duplex, Aziraphale had bundled Wilson up, pointedly ignoring the young doctor's queary about his own winter coat and the pair had headed down to the clinic to over see the night shift. The angel promised to go out and grab them some dinner but in the meantime they had a thermos of tea and some fresh baked cookies to snack on as they sat through Wilson's shift.
Once down at the clinic, Wilson settled behind the front desk with his laptop and his notes for his next Conflict Management and Resolution class, while Phale settled into a chair with a nice fat crossword puzzle. Big Band Swing music played over the radio and both men hummed along, content in their companionable quiet for the night.

Front Desk 1/13
Have a cookie?
For the adorable and wee fretful mate type!
Re: For the adorable and wee fretful mate type!
Despite this, however, Wilson always had a cup of hot tea at hand, and there was never any cold breeze blowing in when the clinic door opened.
Re: For the adorable and wee fretful mate type!
Straddling his lover's knees, he'd perch there with an impish smile on his face and feed the angel the cookie, following it with a long, sweet kiss, before heading back to his desk to keep working.
Re: Front Desk 1/13
He tried to perk up when he saw Wilson. "Hey, Doc."
Re: Front Desk 1/13
"Good evening, Jude." He exclaimed, quickly getting up and coming over to hold the door for the student.
"What brings you down here tonight?"
Re: For the adorable and wee fretful mate type!
conveniently during Jude's visit if you like, but that didn't really count as fussing. Also, he didn't insist that Wilson wear a sweater under his labcoat.

Exam Room 2
Re: Front Desk 1/13
"Has it been six weeks?" Wilson said with a blink, then he thought back and counted back and his eyebrows arched upwards.
"You're right. You should be a free man tonight. Come on back to Exam..." Here Wilson paused, because usually he'd use Exam 1 but actually, he'd had some trouble going back into that room since his own clinic stay, so instead he pointed Jude on down the hall.
"Come on in to Exam 2 (http://community.livejournal.com/fandom_clinic/264336.html?thread=7185552#t7185552) and we'll see about getting that hunk of plaster off you."

"So, how's the leg feeling? Any pain or soreness?"
Re: Exam Room 2
Re: Exam Room 2
"How's the first week of classes?" He asked as he worked, since it helped to pass the time and also might take Jude's mind off the hacksaw moving so close to his flesh.
Re: For the adorable and wee fretful mate type!
Phale had gotten out the door, only after a few more friendly kisses.

Re: Exam Room 2
"Lie back." He instructed so he could take an x-ray of the leg.
"Cool, is a good thing. Makes it easier to study and the like when you actually enjoy the subject."
Re: For the adorable and wee fretful mate type!
Also, there was a small serving of tiramisu. Not homemade, but the angel thought he'd be forgiven for that minor detail.
Re: For the adorable and wee fretful mate type!
Tiramisu?
Someone was in a mood tonight.
Re: Front Desk 1/13
Hard.
"FRAKKIN' HELL!" She yelled in frustration and bolted for the door.
Re: Front Desk 1/13
He stood up and was about to call after her when instead he took note of just how quickly she scrambled up to her feet.
Reflexes are good, all limbs working, no giant blood stain on the floor...uh...lungs in good working order...
Still he started to say hello, just to be polite, though she might already be out the door before she heard him.

Re: Front Desk 1/13
As it was, Wilson blinked and looked over at the angel a little worriedly.
"You think she means the band?"
Re: Exam Room 2
"Yeah. Figured that out last semester. This whole doin' well in my classes thing is totally a new thing for me. My parents were actually right about private school."
Re: Front Desk 1/13
"Er...I think she must. I wonder if they're having another theme night."

Re: Exam Room 2
While waiting for the film to develop he ran Jude through a series of passive tests, pleased with the results. A check of the x-ray was also positive and Wilson smiled at the young man.
"I think you're good to go. Would you like an ace bandage for your ankle, till you get strength back in the muscles?" He figured, from the professional way Jude handled his broken leg that the youth was no stranger to the recovery from broken bones.
Re: Exam Room 2
He sat patiently and quietly through the tests, only seeming to perk up again when he was told that he was finally free.
He tentatively wiggled his foot and nodded. "Yes, please." He didn't know where his were, and the faster he got muscle control back, the faster he was back on his board.
Re: Exam Room 2
The young student's attitude wasn't lost on Wilson, who was remembering a much... chipper young man, even in the face of trolls and a freshly broken leg but he didn't know Jude well enough to push him, beyond the questions he'd already asked.
Still, he'd keep an eye out, just in case.
"All right. There we go. You are a free man." Wilson announced, standing up and ferreting about in some drawers until he found what he wanted and pulled out a sheet of paper. "Do you need the 'how to play nicely with your freshly healed leg' instructions or are you good?"
Re: Exam Room 2
"I think I'm good," he said with a tiny smile as he reached for his crutches again. "Unless you wanna do the lecture again."
Re: Exam Room 2
"You caught me in a none lecturing mood. Be kind to your leg, don't over do and blah blah blah, you know the drill."
