Christian opened up the clinic and checked on Dr. Wilson. The finger reattachment was amazing. If it wasn't in the charts, he wouldn't have believed it had been severed. It must've been a magical job, since there was no signs of surgery. Christian may have felt a tiny stirring of jealousy. That kind of power could put him out of a job.

John stumps in fairly early, pretty active for a guy in a cast with a cane and a crutch.
"Hey," he said, "I'm looking to get a walking cast?"

[I'm not sure I get what you mean -- Christian's not going to accidentally send someone into the room of a coma patient.]

"Mostly quiet," Christian said. "Except for Dr. Wilson."

"I'm not at liberty to say," Christian said. Medical records were confidential, after all. "But he's available for visitors as long as you're quiet and don't try to wake him up. And you may have to get by his partner, first."

"He's in critical condition," Christian said. "But as long as you keep your voice down and your hands to yourself, you can look in on him."

John quietly opens the door and shuffles in to see Wilson.

Wilson was still stretched out on the bed, still and quiet except for where the ventilator was doing it's job and keeping his chest moving.

At some point in the early afternoon, Marie slipped in and sat with Wilson for an hour or so, telling him stories about her trip to New York with Jamie over Christmas and about New Years eve.
