Trevor really didn't want to leave the safety of his apartment in the morning. He'd made the mistake of looking out his window and watching some of the trolls in action the night before, and the idea of going out into town and coming across more of those creatures made him more than a little nervous. But, he knew there had to be people in need of medical assistance, and he figured that if he headed out in the early morning, the streets might be quiet.

He was glad to see that there were fewer overnight patients in the clinic than he'd expected, and he made sure to look over all of the previous day's notes before checking each exam room, and double-checking on the supplies. He didn't want to run out if more people came by.

"Thanks," Isabel smiled. "Although if I let them get close enough? I found out I can turn them to stone myself."

She pushed herself to her feet and tucked the crutches under her arms, before smiling at Ranma, "A little help wouldn't be a bad thing."

Arching her brows, Natalie shook her head. That would be a neat little trick to learn, she thought. She looked at Ranma to see if the other student would be able to help out.

He takes the ice pack and smiles smally. "Anything you need."

"Thanks," Isabel replied. "I appreciate it. And thank you Doctor. I appreciate it."

"It's not a problem. Just let me know if it continues to bother you."

"No trouble at all." He heads for the door, letting her walk on his own. He's a bit shy around people he doesn't really know.

Isabel followed a bit more slowly, getting used to the crutches. She turned and waved one last time at the Doctor before heading out the door. "So about going back to the dorms..."

"Yeah...?" He slows a bit to make sure she doesn't

"I heard someone mention a meeting at Caritas. Would you mind walking me there?" she asked.

Ranma can understand such resolve. He nods. "Sure. Just don't over-do it okay?"

Isabel tried to look innocent. "Who? Me?" Walking carefully down the street, she kept an eye out for trolls. "So anyway, it's nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you too." He smiles.

"So what do you think of your first Fandom invasion?" Isabel asked. "It's still better then zombies I guess."

"They aren't too bad..." He sighs.

"Do you have friends missing as well?"

"Not really.. I... don't have too many friends. I don't get out much." Ranma grins smally.

"That's what I felt like when I first got here," Isabel said. "Now I've made friends like I've never had before. You should get out. Everyone here is friendly."

"Of course... I'm just.. Not very good with people."

"You've been very good with people today."

"That's only because I wasn't talking." He grins sheepishly.

"Ah," she grinned back. "You're one of the silent mysterious types?"

"Nah. More like one of those... awkward... dumb... types." He tries to explain himself. And is quite accurate.

Isabel smiled, "You're just shy."

Caritas loomed in front of them and Isabel sighed. "It looks like this is it. I hope I'll be able to still help."

"Best of luck." He nods and hands her the ice pack.
