FTEC - Saturday evening shift [11/25]
Even with Wilson's driving, they were cutting it close.
Well, true neither Blair, River nor Phale had to be anywhere particular but Wilson did have the Saturday evening clinic shift to cover. Parking the BMW, everybody had been packed off with goodie bags full of whatever left overs anyone had wanted to taken with them and Wilson a long, lingering kiss to the angel's lips, Wilson had seperated from the small group with happy waves and headed on in to the clinic, soft sided brief case thrown over his shoulder.
First things, first...he checked for any occupants and then he started coffee to help him get through the night.
A little concerned as he saw that the exam rooms were indeed occupied, Wilson did a discreet check on the inhabitants before taking himself back to the front desk. He didn't want to needlessly disturb anyone who was resting back there.
Turning on a radio station with some warm and cheerful holiday music, Wilson sat back and grinned lopsidedly to himself. Over all, it had been a very pleasent three days away and he'd especially enjoyed having Phale, Blair and River along to enjoy it with him and now it was back to Fandom in all her glory.
Chuckling wryly, Wilson flipped on his laptop and got settled in to work on his paper, in between rounds.

Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms - one of 'em, anyway
Well, at least she wasn't still on the boat.
Re: Exam Rooms - one of 'em, anyway
"Hey there." He said softly, giving her a warm but restrained smile. "How are you feeling?"
Re: Exam Rooms - one of 'em, anyway
Her voice rasped a bit and she coughed once before being able to talk at all coherently. "Been better."
Re: Exam Rooms - one of 'em, anyway
Hunkering down on his heels beside the bed, he carefully threaded the straw through the railing so that Nadia could sip from it if she wanted to without having to move.
"Yeah, I was reading up on your chart." He said simply so that she wouldn't feel the need to explain anything to him that she didn't want to talk about.

Keeping the water where she could sip at it, he reached and careful readjusted her sling, where it had managed to slip a bit.
"Do you need me to call or contact anyone for you, Nadia?"

"Do you want me to leave him a message, that you'd like to see him? Also, you should probably prepare yourself for an angelic visitor. Aziraphale gets quite fretful when one of his students is injured."
Re: Exam Rooms - one of 'em, anyway
It didn't occur to her that he might have been out of town and hadn't known. She was a teenager, after all. The world revolved around her.
Re: Exam Rooms - one of 'em, anyway
"I'm not too busy, I'll give him a quick call before I go off shift tonight." Wilson promised and he quickly held the water back down where she could take another sip.

"I just started rounds, I'll tell you what. Let me check on the others and I'll come back and let you know how they are doing but then I want you to try to get some rest."
[ooc: And if you want to handwavey that is what he did, that's good for me. :D]
Re: Exam Rooms -- yet another one.
And Chrono was still at her side, on his knees, head bent with his hands clutching at her cold hand, as he had since earlier that day, after she'd been treated. This was all his fault; he should have done a better job of stopping her...
Re: Exam Rooms -- yet another one.
After he had made note of the vital statistics he slipped quietly out to the front of the clinic and grabbed a second chair so that Chrono could put together a makeshift resting spot between the two chairs.
It was possible that some warm coffee in a mug also found it's way close to the young man's elbow.
