Zuko was very much awake and alert this morning because he didn't want to miss his chance to get out of the clinic today.

Sometime in the afternoon Lorne swings by to see his favorite student and is carrying a very large teddy bear. "Zucchini!"

While Zuko was starting to get used to people actually visiting him, this one beats everything. His eyes widened and he eyed the teddy bear suspiciously. It was BIG. "It's Zuko," is about the only reply he can get out.

"I heard you got the big squeeze over the weekend and thought I'd drop by and see how my favorite student was doing," Lorne said thrusting the Teddy Bear at Zuko. "I also picked you up a little something-something."

Zuko stared at the teddy bear. The teddy bear stared back. "Is that...? What is it?" he asked, ever so grateful.

Before going into Walter's room, Pippi knocked on Exam Two's door.

"Awake and ready to get out of here!" Zuko replied, hopeful that it might be the doc.

"That's good to hear." Pippi said poking her head in. "Though I wouldn't suggest trying to escape."

"Why not?" Zuko had seen most of the doctors. He was pretty sure he could outrun them. You know, if he wasn't actually recovering from a lightning strike.

Sometime after Lorne had left, Molly stopped by. Peeking her head in the door, she checked to see if Zuko was awake before announcing herself.

Zuko was awake and scowling at the teddy bear Lorne had brought him. They seemed to be engaged in a staring contest and it was pretty unclear as to who was winning.

"Hello," Molly said as she stepped into the room. "Who's your friend?" She asked, nodding at the bear.

"Hello, Molly," Zuko replied. "It's not my friend. It's not even alive." He did poke it in the nose just to make sure it wasn't.

Aly had heard that Zuko was still in the clinic. And she did actually feel slightly badly that she'd only met him to give detention. So that was probably why she was tapping on his doorframe.

Zuko was still looking confused at the bear Lorne had given him. At the knock on the door, he looked up from his staring contest and blinked. "I didn't set off any sprinklers."

He's here. Probably because he can't try to escape the clinic when he's not conscious. He doesn't appear to be in any better condition than when he was brought in.

Nadia was asleep in the chair next to Walter's bed, hugging her school bag in a manner not unlike the way one might hug a teddy bear.

Pippi tip-toes in with a basket of food from handwavy Cafe Fina and a blanket.

Which she gently covers Nadia up with.

Nadia woke up and blinked in confusion at the blanket, then at the basket of food, then at Walter.

Then she remembered what had happened yesterday, sighed, and sat up, keeping the blanket around her.
