Stark arrived at the clinic to find one room occupied by Jamie. After checking in on him and then checking to be sure there was only one Jamie in the clinic, Stark settled in at the front desk.

Jamie walks into the lobby during his search for Marie and Jamie.

"Excuse me, but do you have another version of me here? Or a girl named Marie?"

Stark looked up, tried not to do a double-take because he knew that sometimes there was more than one Jamie, and nodded.

"There's a you, yes. In exam one. That way." Stark pointed down the hall. "He's not awake. There's no Marie though. Sorry. Do you want me to take you? To the room?"

"Nah, I can find my own way," Jamie replied and headed back to the room after reporting back to the home base.

There was the addition of the small robot sitting forlornly on his chest though. Every now and then it would softly say "Boy's don't cry?"

How it got in, well, probably snuck in during shift change. It was only the size of your average teddy bear, after all.

If Jamie weren't in a coma, he'd probably give the robot a weird look and wonder what it was doing sitting on his chest.

But he was in a coma so he just drooled.

It might have gotten a boost from the equally forlorn looking super hero who was keeping watch on the boy.

Not like he had anything better to do. . . .

NonComa!Jamie poked his head into the room to confirm that coma!Jamie was indeed there and in fact in a coma.

He waved at Artie and wondered what the hell was up with the robot.

Moral hopped to its feet. "Boys don't cry?!"

Jamie looked at the robot sadly.

"Hey robot, I don't know who programmed you but you're wrong. Boys do cry. It's cathartic process that everyone goes through. To deny men the right to cry is to deny them the right to grieve or feel sad. Blocking one's emotions is bad for one's mental health."

The robot would have blinked, had it been able to. It hopped down from the comatose Jamie and tottled over to lean affectionately against Jamie's leg.

"Cheaters never prosper."

Jamie leaned over and patted the robot on its head. "Oh little robot, cheaters do prosper. They may not lead an honest life, but they usually have more money than the rest of us."

"I do little robot," Jamie said with a small grin. "That way when I grow up I'll have strong bones and a health body."

"Only in the Judeo-Christian dogma sense little robot," Jamie explained, "However it is a good idea for kids to wait until they are much older before they start rocking the casbah."

"Sharrrrrrroooo--"*bzt*"--caaaaa---ssssss---bbbbbb---"*bzt*"ahhhhhhhhh!" Moral stepped back and jumped up once. "Rock the casbah! Sharing is caring! Judge not lest ye be judged!"

It might have taken a bit more away from that conversation with Togusa than anyone had expected.

"Sharing is caring." Moral leaned back to look up at Jamie. Then looked at the comatose Jamie. "Boys don't cry, sharing is caring."

Jamie patted Moral on the head. "Yes little robot. Sharing is caring and if Jamie were awake he'd agree with you."

Jamie leaned down and hugged Moral. "He'll be okay little robot. He'll be fine. I promise."

Just kind of stared at him.

For a long time.

Possibly unnervingly.

There's a chance it was trying to spit glitter, but alas, its reservoir was empty.

Oblivious to the robot's reasoning for staring at him, Jamie sat down and watched his coma-self breathe.

Moral watched this, then sat down as well, copying Jamie's stance as best it could with its tiny, kneeless legs and lack of arms.
