FTEC, Friday morning

Alanna was very suprised to find that there were actually people in the clinic. Faithful...decided the TV made a good bed.

Aeryn is feeling better by morning. Still a little tired and slow, but she really has stopped shaking by now. She's okay enough to want to go back to the dorms, but until she knows the heating is fixed, she's not chancing it. Besides, John's still asleep in the chair next to her, so she just lays back down, still awake.

[I'm around till 8 am PST, then on SP till I get home from work. Or Aeryn will be in the clinic for a little bit tonight before she goes back to the dorms.]

John moves and when that movement makes his neck tense and ache, he wakes up and grimaces.

"Hey," he says, getting up and holding his neck. "How are you?"

She nods, sitting up. It's easier today, doesn't put nearly as much strain on her arms.

"Okay," he says and grabs the cup from last night, fills it, dumps a lot of ice in it and sits back down. "Can you hold it today?"

She reaches out and takes the cup, drinking down the water. "I'm okay," she assures him when she's finished.

"Please." She's cooled down, but she spent most of yesterday sweating and would gladly take it in lieu of a shower at the moment.

"Okay," he says and looks around the room before finding a small towel. He wets it with cold water and brings it back over, placing it lightly on her forehead. "Good?"

She gives him a little smile, nodding. She doubts John's leaving the room, but she can still see people. "Hi, Jamie," she says.

Of course it made the radio. "I got locked in the boiler room," she says, wincing a little. It's weird to actually say that.

After Constant Vigilance, Isabel made a quick stop in town and then went to the clinic. Last night's radio had her worried. She poked her head in the room, not wanting to disturb Aeryn if she was sleeping.
