Stark was at the desk in the clinic, reading over possible recipes for his baking workshop tomorrow. All this talk of baking was making him hungry, so he dug out his stash of peanut butter cups to munch on while he pondered what to bake in the morning.

Her head ached and her neck ached and she still felt dizzy whenever she moved.
She closed her eyes.
Hospitals sucked.

Re: Exam Rooms
Well, no it wasn't. Not really.
"Um...well, nothing's gotten worse."

Re: Exam Rooms
"I dunno. A distraction would be nice, I guess."
And someone to come tell me that no one hates me for being completely useless last night.

"I don't know that we ever really met. I think you were in here before though. I'm Stark. "

"I had liked it. Very much...I'm not sure, now."

Then winced. Mistake.
"It isn't the getting hurt that bothers me," she said, "It's...I'm not sure that I'm here for the right reasons anymore."

Re: Exam Rooms
"Perhaps you're right," she said, "I need to think."
And thinking was something she found difficult at the moment. Her thoughts tumbled like a house of cards the moment she tried to put them together.
"...Do you play any card games, Mr. Stark?"

"Why don't you teach me one that you know?"

"I think there are some in the desk. There's always something in the desk. In case the television breaks. Or there's nothing on. It gets boring here, sometimes. When there isn't anyone here," he explained before going to retrieve a deck of cards.
Re: Exam Rooms
Her nose started up with that awful tickling feeling again, and she snatched a tissue.
Re: Exam Rooms
"Found some."
Re: Exam Rooms
She began to shuffle, and as she did, she explained the rules to All Fours (http://www.pagat.com/allfours/allfours.html).
"D'you understand?" she asked.
Re: Exam Rooms
Re: Exam Rooms
"Well, we could just play 'Go Fish'," she suggested and explained the rules to that.

Re: Exam Rooms
She dealt them each seven cards. She wasn't quite as deft as usual and she frowned down at her hands.
"Is there anybody else in the clinic today?" she asked, concerned for her friends.
Re: Exam Rooms
at least, I think you are but I'm not entirely surehere tonight."Stark looked at his cards and frowned.
"Were you looking for someone? I can check and see if they were here, before. And do you have any kings?"
Re: Exam Rooms
She handed Stark the King of Clubs and the King of Diamonds.
"Got any sevens?"
Re: Exam Rooms
who just realized they actually played poker and not Go Fish at all in Dada, oopsshook his head."Go Fish. And I think everyone else got sent back to their rooms. So they should be okay."
Re: Exam Rooms
And got a three, w00t!
She placed the pair down by her side and asked Stark if he had any eights.
So, she was the only one who'd gotten hurt. That was good because her friends were fine. But, it was also bad because she'd been the only person there to really be the textbook definition of useless.
Seras sighed and resorted the cards in her hand.

"Has that been happening all day?"
Re: Exam Rooms
She squeezed her eyes closed.
"Pretty regularly, yeah," she said in a muffled voice.
