FTEC, Wednesday Night

Entering the clinic, Nat did a quick change out of her rain jacket and into a lab coat, draping her stethoscope around her neck. She then picked up the charts and made her rounds. That done, she settled in to the front desk with Lappy her laptop and continued working on her writing project. Hopefully she wouldn't be quite as distracted by it...

"I am sick of the mating calls of moose," Walter announced from the doorway. He was sitting in the wheelchair, which had conveniently padded handles.

He might have something in mind.

"No. I want a cigarette, clothes that aren't clinic supplied, and out of here." He looked around to make sure that Nadia wasn't going to bust up their escape attempt again.

"Far be it from me to deprive my friend of such things." she said rolling slowly out of the bed and carefully putting her grandfather's coat on.

"Can we enlist Mr. Neilson again," Walter asked, looking around for the monkey.

"Do you even have to ask?" Pippi asked, putting her pirate hat on her head as Mr. Neilson poked his head out from behind her laptop.

"Help me pack this stuff up, won't you?"

Walter scooted the wheelchair around to grab her laptop and put it away in whatever was there to put it away in.

Walter cocked his head at Pippi. "Coincidentally, my wheelchair just happens to have padding on the handles. You're packed. Mr. Neilson's ready. Let's try to get out of here."

"He's going out first then we're sneaking out while he keeps the doctor's attention. We can do this."

Walter took Pippi's things and stopped. Nadia's flowers. "One more thing." He scooted the wheelchair out of the room and back down to his to grab the vase and sandwich it between his body and the side of the wheelchair.

"Okay, ready," he said in a low voice upon returning.

Mr. Neilson looked sullin at being told in his own language not to break stuff.

Walter scooted the chair out into the hallway after Mr. Neilson and waited for the noise that would be their cue.
