FTEC, Wednesday day

Tommy did a quick check on all the patients - that Tyler kid still wasn't looking good, but comparatively speaking he was starting to look better - and then settled down at his desk to do the very important job of reading the sports section.

[ooc: OCD threads are up. I'll be at work most of the day so Tommy might be on slowplay. Comment notification is turned off for all you visiting types ;) . If you need Tommy, ping him in his thread. Need me, ping in the OOC thread. Thanks!]

Seras' brow furrowed.

"Gremlin bit?"

"There are these little things. Gremlins. Their bites are hallucinogenic, I hear. They make you think you're someone, or something else."

"Oh. Charming."

Seras wrinkled her nose.

"Well, at any rate, if you get bored of learning how to romance moose, I've brought you these," she said, pulling two books out of her bag: "The Adventure of the Dancing Men" and "Death on the Nile".

"I didn't know what you'd like, but I figured that at least these would feel sort of...homey."

Walter took the books and read the back covers. "Thank you. I know you can never tell when you'll need a friendly moose, but there's only so much a person can read."

Seras grinned and stretched out her legs in front of herself.

"Just think," she said, "You'll be the best prepared butler in the world. Say your master is attacked by a rampaging moose? You'll be able to distract it. How many butlers can say that?"

"I can also speak Cat, Shark, Monkey, Dragon, Raven, Rat, and Lobster to a fair degree. I know the needs of some extraterrestrial plants, and I can wrap my brain around the idea of multiple dimensions. I shall be the ultimate gentleman's gentleman." Other than Alfred.
