FTEC, Sunday Night

Stark had eaten far more chocolate eggs than could possibly be healthy by the time he got to the clinic for his Sunday shift. That didn't stop him from bringing in a few more eggs that he'd picked up on his way in, just in case he needed more chocolate later. Or in case anyone in the clinic needed chocolate.

After checking to see who was in what beds tonight and determining that the dead girl was still dead, he sat down at the desk with a notebook, the chocolate eggs, and two weetiny egg-bearing bunnies that had been following him since this morning. He might have been trying to teach the weetiny bunnies about Sociology of the Paranormal, but they weren't paying much attention.

Angela stopped at the desk a little shyly. "Um, hi," she said. She wasn't sure if being a doll was something you needed to go to the clinic for, but just in case...

"Hello," said Stark ~~much, much later~~. "Do you need something? Would you like some chocolate?"

"Sure," Angela said, holding her hand out for a chocolate egg. "So, um ... there's nothing, like, too weird for you guys, right?"

"Too weird?" Stark considered that as he handed Angela an egg. "For here? I don't think so. This is Fandom, after all. Why?"

Angela lowered her voice. "I was kind of, um, a doll the last two days. And I'm not sure how it happened, but ... I guess I just want to know I'm okay? I know people get turned into other stuff all the time, but still. It was weird."

Stark blinked. "A doll?" That was weird. "I haven't heard of that before. You're feeling well now though?"

"I'm fine," Angela confirmed. "It was just the most boring thing ever. I couldn't move, I just laid there and stared at the ceiling. Sometimes I slept. Once my cat chewed on my hand. That was about it."

"It lasted from about nine in the morning Saturday until about six tonight."

"That's good. That you're fine I mean. Not that it was boring," he clarified. "You didn't make that journalism teacher angry, did you? I hear she turns people into things often."

Angela shook her head, looking puzzled. "I haven't even talked to her except back in January," she said. "Maybe it's one of those weird Fandom things?"

Stark took a moment to chew thoughtfully on yet another chocolate egg before nodding.

"I think that may be it. This place is full of weird things. Very, very weird things," he said, pointing to the two weetiny bunnies still on the desk. "If you're worried, you could come back to see one of the doctors during the week. They would probably be more help."

"They're so cute," Angela cooed at the bunnies. "And thanks. I'll come back if I start feeling plasticky again, or anything."

"They are cute. And they brought eggs with them this time, but not chocolate eggs," he added a little sadly. Not that he didn't have more than enough chocolate already. "I hope you don't feel plastic anytime soon."

"So they aren't like Cadbury Creme Eggs?" angela said, looking a little disappointed. She picked up a weetiny egg and felt the shell; it cracked, showing her it definitely was not chocolatey.

"And thanks, me too."

Somewhat satisfied, she left the clinic.
