Realizing Allie, even though she'd been released, was in no shape to open the clinic, Christian headed over Saturday morning. He wasn't entirely surprised to find the clinic full of patients. Friday nights tended to be busier than others around here for some reason.

Phoebe had fought to stay awake most of the night after she had been admitted. She was still kind of in a state of shock and something else as she thought about everything that had happened. She had been pretty sure she was going to die and then when the cavalry came in led by Cole and Piper... well that had been a welcome sight. But then when she had seen the vanquishing and thought that Cole was dead, too... The last few days had been hell and the out of control empathy didn't make things easier.

She swallowed back tears when she realized that Cole was asleep in the chair next to the bed. He should be in his own bed.

Cole stirred in the chair. "Hey," he said softly, opening his eyes and seeing Phoebe watching him.

She really didn't feel like sitting up, but she did anyway.

"She hurt you." She would have shaken her head but, no. "She used me to hurt you."

Phoebe didn't look reassured. "Love? We live in Fandom." Her lower lip trembled slightly. "People come back from the dead here all of the time."

Piper is a little groggy. Yay pain medication! Still, she is awake and wouldn't turn visitors away.

After her conversation with Nadia (http://marsheadtilt.livejournal.com/51720.html?thread=1186056#t1186056), Veronica headed in to town to check on Piper.

"Hey," she said softly from the doorway, not wanting to disturb her friend if she was sleeping.

Veronica gave Piper a small smile. "Yes, they are a wonderful thing," she agreed.

"How are you mentally?" Veronica asked, knowing how stressed Piper had been about Phoebe's welfare.

Piper shrugged. "Better now that we got her back, but... Paige..."

She glanced at the table on the otherside of the room. "Can you get my cellphone for me? Maybe Paige called and left a message."

"Sure thing," Veronica said, walking over and grabbing the phone. "It looks like you have a voicemail," she told Piper as she handed her the phone and sat back down. She waited anxiously for news, hoping Paige was okay.

Piper listened to the voicemail and breathed a sigh of relief. "That was Grams. Good news? Paige orbed to the Manor and is gonna be okay. Bad news? Grams wants to know what happened last night."

Her fever is getting better.

At some point last night Lana woke up with a start and found herself curled up under the tree in the park. She made her way back to the clinic to check on Kiki where she promptly fell asleep in the chair there.

It may be the most sleep she's had in a long time.
