It's noon before he makes it to the clinic.

His last day.

He's sitting at the desk, with a cup of coffee and Johnny Cash on the radio. He'd brought Cash in from town, and the pup in on the floor chewing on a rawhide bone.

Dr is in. Come say goodbye. He's on slowtime unil this evening

"Are you coming back ever?" Blair worried a frayed patch on his jeans, avoiding eye contact.

"I don't know. I'm...I'm leaving. I'm moving to a town called Tropolis. Even if I don't come back, Blair, I'll write and I'll never forget you."

"I won't forget you either. And I'll write and email.." Something clicked and Blair bounced excitedly. "Tropolis? Yesterday! Goodbye to...Azzy and Dr. Wilson!"

Blair bounced up off the chair. "You're going to the same place, aren't you? You'll all be together and be with friends?"

"Azzy? I don't think I've heard him called that before. But yes. I spoke with Dr Wilson yesterday, and he asked me to move to Tropolis. He followed me here, now it's my turn to follow him there."

Blair bounced. "Man, I just gave him that name yesterday! But that's..that's great! You won't be by yourself and if you get grumpy there will be someone to call you on it and Dr. Wilson doesn't kick puppies and...and..."

Blair bounced forward suddenly to give Dr. House a hug. "I'm really happy for you, man."

"No. No, he doesn't. He'll be the first to kick my butt if I get too grumpy, though."

House laughed when Blair hugged him. "Thank you, Tigger." He grinned.

Blair grinned at the nickname before frowning a bit. "I'm going to miss you a lot. You're like my favorite doctor."

"I am deeply honored, Tigger. THat really means a lot. I'm going to keep the plant you gave me. it's already starting to sprout. I'm going to take such good care of it, and I think, if you don't mind I'll call it Blair, and everytime I talk to it, I'll think of you."

Blair turned and sat back down on the chair next to House.

"Wow. Everyone's plant but mine is sprouting." He bit his lip and sniffed a bit. "I'd be honored man, that's like...that's the like coolest thing ever."

House laughed and ruffled Blair's hair.

Blair grinned. "So you're leaving right away? Do you need help moving things? I'm really...okay, well I'm not really strong but I take directions well!"

"No. it's sweet of you to offer, but all mystuff's already down at Professor Chaucer's shop, and I'll have movers take it on to Tropolis. I'm probably leaving next week. I'm staying with Geoff for a few days."

"That's cool, man." Blair slid down to the floor to say goodbye to Chase.

Cash abandoned his bone and trotted over to Blair, pawwing at him and licking his face because he was on his level.

Blair laughed and petted Cash happily. "You be good, man. And take care of your dad, okay?"

He hugged the puppy to him briefly and stood, sniffing a little. "Okay man, I guess I should be getting out of your hair."

"All right, Tigger. Thank you, for stopping by." House stood and hugged him properly, and Cash went back to his rawhide by the desk.

Blair hugged him back tightly and whispered a thank you against his shirt before letting go and leaving the clinic.
