Clinic Hours - Friday January 13th 2006

Taking his time coming up from town, Wilson let Cash off his leash to run around the courtyard the way the puppy was used to playing in the morning. Sipping his coffee, he gave the young dog a half an hour before whistling and calling to him. Unlocking the clinic doors, he set about getting the place open for the day.

Cash ran down to the end of the hall and whimpered a couple of times at the door that lead to the apartment but a pause in his activities and a cuddle from the oncologist, coaxed the puppy back up to the front of the clinic. Coffee was started and music was put on, playing quietly at the desk. Rather than picking up his usual crossword puzzle, Wilson tugged out a small rubber ball and sat in the waiting room, tossing it up against the wall for Cash to chase and try to catch.

Doctor and puppy are in! By all means stop by.

Paige reaches down and pets the puppy smiling, that was the good thing about puppies they made everything better.

"Any particular order you want them in? Human, 'special' human, non human? Alphabetical, by class? All of the above?" she asks looking up at him, she was nothing if not organised.

She smirked, "Seriously? Even after all the time you've been here?"

She nods, "Yeah keeping everyone equal sounds good to me, the whole human, non-human thing didn't sit so well with me. I mean just cos I can do magic doesn't make me non-human right? Plus I'm guessing that sort of thing will be the notes anyway."

Lucky for Cash Paige was enjoying having her mind taken off things, she knelt down beside him and rubbed his head fairly hard, he was so cute and happy looking, it was pretty hard to stay upset really.

Paige figured she should probably stop really before Cash became uncontrolable, cos that's probably not what anyone wanted in a clinic. She gave him another quick pat and stood up again.

"Oh come on you're not that old," she didn't think much about age, she'd never even known how old Geoff was, mind you neither did he but that beside the point.

"Yeah well hopefully I'll be able to help there, I'm pretty sure I can heal anything, one of my friends was attacked recently and I managed to heal her okay."

She looks back down at Cash, "I don't have any classes today if you need a break from him for a while by the way." she tells Wilson.

She nods, "Oh yeah I get that, I just meant, well I know there are things I can't heal. It's just if someone does get badly wounded, well I can fix up the wound, but I know that's not all there is to medicine."

Paige swallowed hard, "Demons, over the holidays, one of them clawed her, it wasn't like it is here, there were just the five of us, it was pretty scary." They'd be pretty lucky Tonks was there really or they'd probably have been killed.

She nods, "Guess I'll go sort out the blood samples then," she says heading off, yep keeping busy was definitely her plan for at least the near future.
