Clinic Hours - Friday January 13th 2006
Taking his time coming up from town, Wilson let Cash off his leash to run around the courtyard the way the puppy was used to playing in the morning. Sipping his coffee, he gave the young dog a half an hour before whistling and calling to him. Unlocking the clinic doors, he set about getting the place open for the day.
Cash ran down to the end of the hall and whimpered a couple of times at the door that lead to the apartment but a pause in his activities and a cuddle from the oncologist, coaxed the puppy back up to the front of the clinic. Coffee was started and music was put on, playing quietly at the desk. Rather than picking up his usual crossword puzzle, Wilson tugged out a small rubber ball and sat in the waiting room, tossing it up against the wall for Cash to chase and try to catch.
Doctor and puppy are in! By all means stop by.

"Well, busy hmmm okay. Besides helping me keep track of Cash, how about you help me go through all these new files we've got from the blood draws and get them in order?"
Hearing his name the puppy jumped up from where he'd been chewing on his ball in the corner and came trotting over, making friendly little whimpers and yips at Paige.

"Any particular order you want them in? Human, 'special' human, non human? Alphabetical, by class? All of the above?" she asks looking up at him, she was nothing if not organised.
Re: The Waiting Room - Friday 1/13/06
Setting a hand on his hip he tapped at his belt thoughtfully with long fingers before finally nodding.
"Just alphabetical I think. Half the 'non human' categories are such that House and I don't even know how to classify them so, let's just keep everyone equal across the board."
Cash was absolutely loving life today and he rolled himself around under Paige's hand, bumping into her with eager friendliness and licking her fingers.

She nods, "Yeah keeping everyone equal sounds good to me, the whole human, non-human thing didn't sit so well with me. I mean just cos I can do magic doesn't make me non-human right? Plus I'm guessing that sort of thing will be the notes anyway."
Lucky for Cash Paige was enjoying having her mind taken off things, she knelt down beside him and rubbed his head fairly hard, he was so cute and happy looking, it was pretty hard to stay upset really.

"I've been here for four months, Miss Matthews, how quickly do you think my old mind can strip it's gears?" Wilson's eyes twinkled and he quickly squashed the mental image of white wings in intimate situations.
"But you're right, everyone on the island, every student is equal. It's not House's intention that we be 'human' or 'non-human' only that the clinic is prepared to offer competant top level care to whoever comes through the door in need."
Re: The Waiting Room - Friday 1/13/06
"Oh come on you're not that old," she didn't think much about age, she'd never even known how old Geoff was, mind you neither did he but that beside the point.
"Yeah well hopefully I'll be able to help there, I'm pretty sure I can heal anything, one of my friends was attacked recently and I managed to heal her okay."
She looks back down at Cash, "I don't have any classes today if you need a break from him for a while by the way." she tells Wilson.
Re: The Waiting Room - Friday 1/13/06
"Paige, you know there is more to 'healing' than just laying hands on and taking away a physical wound?"
Re: The Waiting Room - Friday 1/13/06
Re: The Waiting Room - Friday 1/13/06
"What happened to your friend?" He wasn't aware of any 'attack' patients having come through the clinic recently.
