Clinic Hours - Tuesday January 10th 2006

Though he was running a little late you try getting dried apple pie filling off the next morning but the Clinic was soon bright and inviting (as much as a Clinic could be) with the fresh scent of coffee wafting through the air and a certain oncologist kicked back with a crossword puzzle stack of paperwork.

Doctor is in!

Taking Shep's arm in his hands, he gently manipulated the injured wrist, letting his fingertips trace the flexibility of muscle and sinew.

Dark eyes flicked up towards Shep and he smiled gently. "It's voluntary but yes. Strictly confidential and only so House and I have a baseline of normal to compare against in case of...oh...well, just about anything here in Fandom."

Shep jumps a little, "Sorry. Ticklish."

"Yeah, like anyone around here qualifies as 'normal' regardless of their DNA. But whatever. Do your worst."

After a pause he adds, "You realize that wasn't meant literally, right." He's always stoic about needles until right up to the point where he was faced with... the point.

Chuckling, Wilson stood up and lead John in towards the back of the Clinic.

"Come on Wonder Wuss. Don't think I forgot just how much fun you were that afternoon, bleeding everywhere and trying to rocket off the table when I gave you a local."

"Wonder Wuss? What are you trying to kick is some sort of manly response like 'go ahead drive a six inch steak knife through me, I'm totally cool with it?' 'Cause that ain't gonna happen. Besides, that day... I had enough holes in me without you making more, don'tcha think?"

Shep was smiling though. What scared him was the idea that this was the *nice* doctor in the clinic, according to all reports.
