Clinic Hours - Monday January 9th 2006
Though he wasn't sure if House had gotten his annoucement out to the school yet, Wilson went ahead and opened up the School Clinic as they'd discussed the night before.
Letting Cash out of the apartment, he reached down and ruffled the puppy's ears. "Did he already leave you on your own little guy? Come on then, let's get the day started."
Opening the front door of the clinic, Wilson gave Cash a quick run through the courtyard to be a good puppy then called him back into the reception area of the clinic, tossing him a new squeak toy that he'd picked up on his way up from town.
He hadn't been back to the clinic since the night he'd left the apartment and though he expected to feel a little strange, he soon found himself settling into his usual routine. Starting coffee, a nice Kona blend today, he straightened up the waiting room and settled down at the desk to do some paperwork.
Wilson was fairly certain that House hadn't thought to update the supplies in awhile and they had talked specifically about Wilson keeping up with the back office work of both clinics. So, settling down with the paperwork and a mug of coffee Wilson got his day started.
Doctor is in, come say hello!
[ooc: At work so on a SP schedule :)]

Re: The Waiting Room - Afternoon with House
"Few yers ago, I was on a golf course, right? Excruciating pain in my leg. Like the kind you can't breathe through. My buddies, if you can call them that, rushed me back to the hospital where we worked. I made them take me across town, but they knew me there too, but they didn't have an accurate medica record and I wasn't really in a state to provide it. I had quite a reputation, you could say, so when I self injected they thought I was drug seeking. Sent me home with a strained muscle diagnosis. Three days later, I was technically dead. My strained muscle was a blood clot." He eased the needle against Blair's arm.
"Damage was extensive and irreversible muscle death. My doctor wanted to amputate. I refused. My girlfriend just wanted me to live, so she authorised a debridement, surgery to remove the dead muscle. The toxins were killing me. Maybe she saved my life, I don't know. But, I'm missing a chunk of muscle, nerves and tissue. Makes walking a bit difficult, so I use a cane."

"Between you and me, he's really the only reason I fought hard enough to live. Thing like that, it can get scary. Easy to forget where he stopped and I began. Or where I stopped and he began." Another shake of his head, this time to clear it. "Anyway, you're good to go."
Re: The Waiting Room - Afternoon with House
"Done?" Blair looked down at his arm and the cotton ball and the tiny spot of blood and paled quickly. He looked at House in shock.
"Waa?"

Re: The Waiting Room - Afternoon with House
"Okay. No problem, right man? I'll be fine?" Blair grinned carefully and bounced to see if he still could. Nothing fell off, so he grinned and bounced. "Thank you very much, Dr. House. You're a good man. I think I'll come talk to you again sometime!" Blair bounced and grinned as he headed for the door.
ooc:no problem! Thanks for playing and giving Blair a nickname!
