Unofficial Clinic Hours -Because IV lines work better in a Clinic-
Wilson lead Tex back to the Clinic, mentally casting up a hope that Archie was going to prove to be a student and he wasn't going to be getting an evil eye from the administration.
"Through here we can put him in..."
Oh hell! They were really starting to run out of rooms at this point.
"Err...here." Wilson pushed the door to exam 1 open and held it for Tex so she didn't have to practically stand on her head to make it through the doorway.

"If you ever think of starting up an alternative ambulance system, this is easy money."

"I'll keep that in mind, though if you're interested the going rate is $100 base with $5 per mile above that."
Hopefully Archie wasn't too bashful because his near shredded clothing was getting cut with a pair of scissors while Wilson hung a lactate ringer with the other.
Turning towards Archie, the younger doctor leaned over the youth and gently patted his cheek to draw his attention.
"You still with us in there?" Checking for consciousness.

*then he stopped.*
*unauthorized personnel on campus.*
*the far end of campus where the clinic was.*
*rover squeaked out the door and rolled on.*
*at the clinic he wiggled in the door and rolled to the counter.*
*and spotted the big metal thing.*
*big metal thing with a gun.*
*no firearms on campus except in authorized sections only.*
*rover squeezed behind the counter and rolled toward the big metal thing.*
*unauthorized metal thing.*
*with the gun.*
*also unauthorized.*

Wilson looked over his shoulder as he was working to run the line into Archie's arm.
"There you are!" He didn't yell but he did give Rover a bit of a hurt look. "I found this student, I think, on the beach, severely dehydrated and in need of urgent medical care. She's just helping me...everybody just... keep calm."

*the town was not his patrol area.*
*but if the doctor trusted the big metal thing.*
*the metal thing with the gun.*
*both who were unauthorized.*
*rover would wait patiently.*
*the metal thing was still not allowed on campus.*
*and would have to leave.*
*which he indicated with a bounce and a roll backward.*
*then he waited.*

"No weapons on campus...at least. I'm sorry. Rover, I'm sorry this is my fault, I needed help getting this boy back here and she was the only one who offered. Can she just leave and you can come back and dump me in a closet when I get done treating this kid?"

Wordlessly she moved towards the exit, halting a few steps away from the ball thing and watching it curiously to see what it would do.
no subject
"Thank you, again and...I do apologize for this. I owe you a couple of drinks."

*he followed the unauthorized big metal thing.*
*with the unauthorized firearm.*
*and watched from the door to make sure she went off campus.*

*their interactions would be too funny.*

*once things were as they were supposed to be, rover hopped.*
*he jiggled for the doctor.*
*and made more squeaking noises when he squeezed out of the door to head back to the campus proper.*

"Good to know. I'm starting an IV line. I know you're thirsty but if you take in too much water by mouth right now you'll do more harm then good."
He did, however, give Archie an ice chip to suck on as he continued to secure the IV catheter.

His hand twitched feebly in a gesture of appreciation toward Wilson.

Besides the obvious need Archie had for them, Wilson was hoping that as the IV fluids and the meds worked, the young man would regain lucidity and be able to answer some necessary questions.
Such as his name.

"You're in the Clinic, Lieutenant. Are you a student here at the school?" Wilson's voice was gentle and calm, despite the turmoil churning inside at the situation.

"Today is Saturday, November...5th." Since he had no idea when the young man might have been reported missing...or if he had, perhaps some time before Wilson really began working in the Clinic...though..wait...Archie
Archie...who was it...oh yes the girl who had come in with the amnesia, Lana. They had spoken of an Archie.
Coming back to the bed, he leaned over and gave Archie another icechip, keeping close so the young man didn't have to try to speak too loudly.
"What's the last day you remember clearly?"

"Don't worry about it. Just rest for a bit and let's get you stable, then we can fill in the details as they come. I'm going to call the Dean and let him know you've been found."
no subject
"Thank you," he whispered.
