The Clinic was opened, perhaps a little late as someone had been out stalking coffee from The Perk this morning.

That didn't mean he didn't have a pot of Kona brewing quietly behind him as he sat and worked thoughtfully on a clipboard in his lap.

That's right, that did happen quite a bit in your time...I remember a pub fight I was in... [He laughs a little, then sits back up.]

I'd like to do it again.

[He licks his lips, and then speaks--quietly, gently, but firmly.] Shut up, Geoff.

[And Ten leans over and kisses him, one hand on his cheek. It's not hard, it's not soft...it just is.]

[Eventually he pulls back, face flushed a bit, hand trailing reluctantly away from Geoff's face. He looks into his eyes, trying to read them.]

No. Not...not yet. [He looks to one side.] But Geoff...will you stay for a while? Just until I fall asleep? It's... [He looks upward and around the clinic walls.] too oppressive to be alone in here.

[Geoff moves his chair up against the side of the bed, and takes hold of Ten's hand.]

I'll stay as long as long you need me to, Ten.

[He rests his hand on Ten's shoulder and closes his own eyes, leaning his head back against the wall.]
