Anxious:Tuesday Morning Clinic

Maia sat looking around, she was not sure when she would 'see' Tara. I am going to see her, she's going to be here. Maia's heart raced with anticipation, they were going to get her out, Tara and Dr. Wilson to. She would not be alone anymore. Maia hugged her knees to keep warm, her curly hair falling into her eyes. She remembered crying waiting for Diana to come get her from the hospital room when the doctors had left her alone for hours in quarantine. They will send you back to quarantine Maia. You won't get to stay at school The voice was back, Maia clenched her teeth and covered her ears. They won't save you Maia. Tara is going to be trapped here along with you. Maia turned her head away from the voice and hugged herself tighter. You won't see her when she's trapped here, you'll still be alone. Does Tara know that? Does she know you'll never leave here now? Maia shook her head and fought back tears.

Tara slides into the bed next to Maia automatically, for a moment feeling as if this day is no different than the days before, despite the carefully collected contents of her bag. "I'm here, Maia. Can you hear me?"

Maia looked around wildly "I don't see you. I hear you." Maia looked around the room again, her voice is strained, she had been crying. "It say's you can't leave if you come Tara. I don't want you to not be able to get back." Maia thought for a moment "I'm scared."

Phoebe enters the clinic behind Tara and immediately goes to the opposite side of Maia. She holds her hand and bushes hair from her face.

"Phoebe?" Maia feels the familiar hand on hers.

Phoebe squeezes her hand. "I'm here, Maia. I'm here."

Paige had woken up thinking she heard Maia and run straight to the clinic, she smiled at Tara a little and sat by the bed "Maia? Can you still hear me sweetie?"

"Yes" Maia said excitedly "Your here, I feel hear Phoebe and Tara to." Maia smiles "I am getting out of here today" She finishes in an almost childish whisper full of hope.

Paige smiles and looks at Tara and Phoebe, "she can hear you and she says she's getting out."

"Yes you are sweetie, we're gonna do what we can," she says reassuringly

"We're going to do this, Maia," Tara smiles, kissing her forehead. She looks round at Phoebe and Paige, smiling. "Can you feel us? The three of us? We're here. Were going to do it together."

Phoebe smiles at her sister and then looks at Tara.

"I want to link us, like I did before. It'll help give you extra strength and safety."

Tara smiles gratefully at Phoebe. "The three of us, okay? You me, and Paige. All our strength, together. Dr. Wilson's standing by in case anything goes wrong physically, and Allison DuBois - she's just moved into town, but she's a seer like Maia - she's standing by on the astral plane." [ooc: or will be in about five more minutes, cos we're setting that up now.] She looks at the two sisters. "I've got the spell ready. Will you do it with me?"

Maia feels the warm air around her and smiles "Yes." Maia smiles again, the icy fingers tried to climb up her body but they did not succeed, the voice tried to taunt her but she kept focusing on knowing they were there and ignoring the voice. "Your coming to get me?" Maia said still a little scared but she had unfolded from hugging her knees.

"Yes, honey, we're coming to get you. Just a few more minutes, okay? Just a few more minutes, and we'll be there with you, and you're coming home with us." Tara lifts her head from Maia, and begins to organise the things that need doing, feeling more optimistic now than she could have imagined the previous night.

((Allison DuBois (allison_dubois) is a seer, new in town, that Tara talked to about Maia this morning. She'd like to be involved in this rescue, and I've suggested she stands by on the astral plane, with a blood-link to Tara, to step in if anything happens.

If you're fine with that, she'll join in other this thread. Because she's a townie, her comments will show up screened, and you'll have to unscreen them. Shouldn't get Rovered or anything, because she's not physically on campus. Sound ok?))

Lana came in to visit Maia, but hung back when she saw all the activity. She wasn't sure what the other girls were doing, but she didn't want to get in their way. She watched quietly from the doorway.

Tara opens her eyes to blackness, instantly understanding what Maia meant when she said the dark pressed on her eyeballs. The screaming in the air was chilling, but Tara gritted her teeth and ran towards it, hoping she would find Maia at the source of the sound.

Maia heard movement. "Tara" She whispered terrified of not getting an answer. Maia was crouched behind her bed, it seemed a safe place. "TARA!!" She said louder after not getting an answer.

"Honey?" Tara calls out. "Maia, I can hear you. I'm here. Keep talking, I'm trying to find you." She stumbles and hits her toe, wanting to laugh at the mundanity of the pain. "Okay, I didn't expect it to be so dark!"

Phoebe was really not enjoying this travelling through screams. It tore at her that Maia was being tormented by all of this. She ran towards the screams, trying to ignore the headache she was going to have later.

"Your here." Maia seemed to melt. Maia moved slowly from behind the bed. "I'm here Tara, Phoebe. I'm here." The darkness seemed to ease up a bit or maybe Maia had been there so long her eyes had adjusted, she saw movements coming towards her.


((A little Godmoding is going to have to happen here guys as far as positions of the players etc.. is everyone cool with that? saying where a player is etc..? Officially *smiles* ))
