Clinic Open Monday October 24th

Wilson had ended up at the Clinic most all of Sunday and then, not long after he’d fallen asleep next to House, he’d been called in for an emergency endoscopy for Parker.

He’d snatched a few hours of sleep on the couch rather then risking waking House up, gotten up around eight and grabbed a shower and a pot of coffee to help jar himself back awake.

Flipping the lights on, he made a quick sweep of the waiting area to make sure there wasn’t any lingering blood or files from the day before and then headed for the counter. A lean fingered hand lifted up to cover a yawn as Wilson sprawled bonelessly in a chair. He was going to have to do paperwork…and blood work…and check on Maia and check up on Parker.

Mentally listing out his day to himself, the oncologist lifted his hand and rubbed it across his face.

It was going to be a busy day.

Doctor on Duty. Come point and pester at will, it will help him stay awake.

[ooc: And if any assistants would like to come and save the idiot from himself... :D ]

With a mouth full of flyers, Red trotted into the clinic and rested his paws up on the front desk, grinning.

He placed the flyers on the counter. "Two things. The first is there is a Town Meeting on Thursday. While I can't say for sure if the clinic is officially part of school property or considered 'in town with campus oversight', you and the other Doctor live in town, I think. At any rate, consider dropping by," and Red nosed one of the flyers over toward Wilson.

"The second was you had called last week about the results of my blood work and it go so crazy I couldn't break away until now to come talk to you about it."

"Glad to hear that. I will need a copy, just to have on file, but it doesn't have to be done at this minute," Red said peering closely at Wilson. He could see the man was tired. "You can just mail it to me when you get it done."

Grissom walks into the clinic in the late morning, looking a bit tired and ill, and takes a seat in the waiting area.

Grissom quickly observed Wilson. "I'm uncharacteristically optimistic that you can. I've been ill all weekend, and am afraid I have become a bit dehydrated, which has only hindered my recovery."

Grissom looks a little ill, and not due to his illness. "I... have a habit of ignoring personal medical issues."

He gives Wilson a look that, while not threatening, indicates he does not wish to discuss the matter further, although that may not stop Wilson's line of inquiry.

"I initially thought I must have a stomach flu, and that it would pass on its own, but I have been ill since Wednesday of last week and have grown a bit weaker, even with rest."

Tara comes in, face determined and notebook in hand, and waits for Wilson to be free.

"Dr. Wilson," Tara smiles. "I think I've got the spell worked out - and I wanted to tell you, she woke up! I mean, just for a moment. Half a moment, really, but she opened her eyes and she hugged me. She was so tired afterwards, but she did it, so I'm sure she'll be able to do it again, especially with me to guide her out." Tara looks tired, and stressed, but there is a genuine relief behind her eyes.

Tara grins. "Tomorrow, if that's okay with you. I'm in class all day today, and it's going to be a heavy one - I don't want my emotions clouding things up for Maia. But if you have time tomorrow..."

Cameron enters the clinic and looks around. He's not sure if he's relieved or disappointed to not find Vala here.

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-10-24 09:19 pm (UTC)(link)
"Hi doctor Wilson," Cameron turned towards him. "No, I'm good but er... you didn't happen to get Vala Mal Doran in here today, did you?"

[identity profile] cameronmitchell.livejournal.com 2005-10-24 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
"No, I really hope not." Cameron shifted nervously and shrugged. "I don't know, I'm probably worrying about nothing. I haven't seen her since yesterday and I just thought I'd make sure that nothing happened..."

Pushing her sunglasses back to sit atop her head, D'anna approached the front desk. "Excuse me, where would I inquire after a patient?"

[ooc: I realize this is uber late and none of the staff may still be on, my cable putzed out after I had D say in class that she'd stop by to check on Parker.]
