Paperwork...anyone got a Bic and some lighter fluid?
Sundays were usually a good time for the week's paperwork to get done. For some reason the majority of people did not, as a rule, get hurt on Sundays.
Of course, who knew if this place was going to follow that particular rule, but the size of the apartment -or lack there of- made massive paperwork projects somewhat impossible, so that left the Clinic.
Really, he was going to have to start getting out more.
For the time being, however, he was puttering about in the front of the clinic, using the chairs in the waiting room to help him sort and work on filing. He had his little radio with him and the dulcet tones of some song he yoinked off the internet played throughout the front room of the Clinic, keeping him company for the time being.
[ooc: Lazy Sunday if anyone would like to poke or needs to bleed.]

Wilson returned with the IV bag and other necessary items. With an easy smile he urged Paige to lay back, giving the IV bag a light shake before hanging it up on a bar above her head.
"We'll try this and hope that if we boost your system a little, things righten themselves up."
He worked quickly and with little fuss, setting the catheter with hopefully nary more than a quick pinch.
"Might feel a little cool where the fluid enters, that's normal. Let me know if you start to feel naseaous or you start to feel worse."
It was on the tip of his tongue to ask if all this had something to do with her visit the other day but honestly, she looked shaken enough without having some relative stranger poking his nose into her personal business.

IV set and running, Wilson pulled out a blanket and laid it across her to help combat the chill in the Clinic and the chill from the IV fluid running into her body.
"I'll be honest with you Miss. Matthews, I do not script out sleep aids to out patients unless they are Stage IV cancer patients."

She sighs a little, "I guess I could get something herbal in town if I need to right?" she thinks for a moment about the possibly of bumping into Geoff or Crowley "or maybe someone could go for me. They'd be ok right?"
no subject
"Sure, if you feel it would help you."
no subject
"Erm shouldn't you be asking me questions so you can put the info in my notes, or don't I have any yet?"
no subject
Leaning back against the counter, he crossed his arms and looked a little pensive.
"Well first of all you really don't look like you're up to too many questions at the moment. Secondly, you had an evil soul in you that was exorcised. This falls under the realm of magic and spiritual healing which rarely crosses boundries directly with medical and scientific upkeep. Unless, as someone who has both healing as well as magical experience, you feel that there are certain notes you'd like put in your chart for future consideration?"

"And this was while you were host to the evil soul?"

She holds uo her hand to reveal a scorch mark in the shape of a kiss

Returning with the items, he pulled a tray close so he could sit on the edge of the bed and work.
"I think you're expecting a lot from yourself at the moment Miss. Matthews. It sounds to me and please understand I don't claim to be an expert here, but it sounds to me as if you've just survived a very harrowing experience, both physically, mentally and emotionally. I think you might give yourself at least a night's sleep and then evaluate from there."

Paige knows exactly why she can't heal, she can't heal because she can't love right now, "if my power doesn't come back should I come to the clinic?"
no subject
"Sometimes doing something for effect can help in unexpected ways."
He gave her a quiet sort of smile and finished off the bandage.
Standing up, Wilson moved to put his supplies away.
"Do you think it's something that Dr. House or I can help you regain?"

Giving her another gentle smile he continued. "If you're willing to take a little advice from the doctor? Give yourself some time."
no subject
She sighs, "but I guess I could do that without seeing him. I don't think I like being a witch much, doctor. None of this stuff happened beofre I knew what I was, plus no 14th century poets" she bites her lip but laughs just a little
no subject
"Do you care about him, Paige? Is he a good man?"
no subject
no subject
"Well...it always helps when they do but for the purpose of this discussion. If he's a good man and you love each other, then I think you owe it to both of you to talk to him face to face. It might not be the most comfortable thought right now but, give him a chance to listen to you."
Tugging a kleenex free, he reached up and neatly wiped away the tickling little tear.

She looks up at the near empty IV, "will I be able to go soon? I feel quite a lot better."

[ooc: Would he find everything in line with her claim or is she trying to hoodwink him?]

Sometimes, the last place a person needed to be was a Clinic.
[ooc: My pleasure, goodnight!]
