[Locked to the rooftoppers, please. The Dean could stop by...Basically, closed to traume for now]
Dr House was in the clinic, waiting for any and all of the kids from the botched Rooftop Beautifucation Project to show up for their gremlin testing, as per the Dean. Dean Bristow had told him to use water or sprite, not the actual gremlin spittle, but House didn't like the whole idea of lying to those kids. They trusted him, and he'd put himself on the line to defend and protect them. Lying to them at this point just seemed wrong.
House sighed and looked up at Alanna's pencil collectoin in the ceiling. The girl had a good throw, as far as h could tell, not one of the pencils had fallen yet. He sighed again and rubbed his face. He dug his crossword puzzle book out of his desk, but couldn't concentrate on it. Same with his video games, even the yo-yo. Another sigh and he leaned back in his chair, feet propped up on the desk.
[OOC: While this post is closed to student and faculty trauma, the clinic itself is open...*nodnod*]

"So. Gremlin testing," she says, feigning calm. "How do we start?"

House's eyes make her a little self-conscious. They're even bluer than Rory's or Jordan's, and I bet he sees more through them, she thinks as she takes a seat.

She snorts. "Anya a robot would explain one or two things and bring up many, many other questions. And the other three have been campaigning their asses off."
"What did you think of the debates?"
no subject
"And Anya might actually be a robot, but if she is, whoever programmed her has a weird sense of humor and I want to meet him and thank him."

"Riiiight there with you," Parker laughs. "I got sucked into dress shopping with her. The woman is *frighteningly* good with money. And I say that as someone who comes from a long line of corporate robber barons."

He scratched his head, fully aware he was acting out of character. He didn't do this sort of thing often. Or without feeling very strongly about it.
"Stop. Here's the deal. The Dean knows the gremlin spit is a cover up. He tried to get me to rat you out. I didn't. I stuck with your story, and now I have to chaperone Homecoming. You kids owe me big. You all pretty much owe me your first borns, except I don't want them. I'm not going to expose you to gremlin spit. I'm not going to do any kind of testing on you. I'm not a research scientist, I'm a doctor. So, you owe me, And one way you can repay me right now is to get out of my clinic."

And then she grabs her backpack and is out the door.
