House nods, glance sweeping once again over the other terrified kids. Kids that came to him initially because they backed themselves in to a corner, and thought he might help them get out of it. The plan had more or less backfired. But he'd stood his ground with the Dean, he'd stood up for those kids and he wasn't going to let them down now.
He scratched his head, fully aware he was acting out of character. He didn't do this sort of thing often. Or without feeling very strongly about it.
"Stop. Here's the deal. The Dean knows the gremlin spit is a cover up. He tried to get me to rat you out. I didn't. I stuck with your story, and now I have to chaperone Homecoming. You kids owe me big. You all pretty much owe me your first borns, except I don't want them. I'm not going to expose you to gremlin spit. I'm not going to do any kind of testing on you. I'm not a research scientist, I'm a doctor. So, you owe me, And one way you can repay me right now is to get out of my clinic."
