//my eyes are open. Im sure my eyes are open. where am I? Howd I get here? Why is there a troupe of reavers in my head? OK, blurry light, blurry light is better then no light, which is better then dark, which is... gorram it. That dont make sense. All right, so, fuzzy light, bed that aint mine and body heat thats small and furry. furry, and blue? No, that was big, and naked, no, that was me. I think Im naked...cant move, feel weight.. bright blurry light, all right. Im alone, cant talk, cant ask.. why wont my mouth work...whered Sheldon go? Whyd Phebes leave, again. George, wanna go out with George, but I new I had to do this, what was this? I dont remember...//
Jayne attempts to sit up, and fails, falling back on the cot crying out in head and body pain, His eyes fly open and he looks around wildly, desperately. It takes him a few moments to realize that hes in an approximation of a med lab, a place he hates to be. He moves to pull the IV out, but finds that movement is simply too painful.
The Package... where is the package?
He looks around, hoping to see *anybody* who can tell him where his pants are

::starts awake when Jayne yells and yawns::
It's about time you woke up.
::walks over::
Leave the IV alone. You're badly dehydrated and need the fluids.

It's okay, Jayne. You got horribly drunk last night and almost died, but you're okay now.
Also, ::looks embarassed:: your clothes are in my room. They were soaking wet, so I had to strip you before wrapping you up.

uhhhh.....
my head hurts.

Would you like to sit up?

Fine. But DON'T take out that IV yet. You need the fluids.
::leaves a note for Doc House or one of the nurses on the front desk, then leaves to go get Jayne's clothes::

*waits, less then patient*

I emptied your pockets and put the stuff in here ::lifts the smaller bag:: before I wrung the last of the water out of your clothes. ::lifts larger bag.
::puts both bags beside Jayne's cot::
(OOC: Would Hank have noticed or cared about whatever "it" is?)

Give me the small bag *almost growled*

::helps Jayne sit up, then hands over the bag::

When I first wanted to be Lizzies fake guy... I figured shed need a ring. I ordered this.
Last night it came in, and I had to figure out what I wanted to do with the gorram thing.
Decided to give it to you, to give to her. If she dont want to keep it, then Ill take it back, or you can keep it, or whatever...
but it looked like, yeah, reminded me of her.
*deflates a little, still sick, tired, and now very embarressed*

Oh, Jayne.
::takes the ringbox and looks at the ring, then closes it::
You're a good man. I'll let Elizabeth know that it's a gift of friendship, to help out. It's a wonderful ring.
::gently:: You get some more rest and I'll see to getting you some dry clothes for when they finally release you. Are you still staying with Sands?

Without a word, she begins to back out slowly, hoping that no one notices her exit. Oh, well. Dinner dates are highly overrated, anyway.
About 11:00 AM
Here you go, Jayne. Have you been discharged yet?
Re: About 11:00 AM
Yeah, they say Im free to go, just no booze for a while...
*grabs the bag from him*
Re: About 11:00 AM
Let me know if I can assist you any further. Just be careful with yourself, okay?
