Tick walks over to the clinic after leaving the victory party.

"Excuse me," he calls out. "Does anybody have some Advil? I've been shot in the head multiple times tonight and it gave me a bit of a headache."

"Hello, sir!" Rory calls out hoarsely from where she's sitting next to Logan's cot (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandom_clinic/15914.html?view=389930#t389930). "How did you do out there?"

Hello, Rory! Fought the Good Fight, bludgeoned some zombies with other zombies, worked as a human shield for about an hour. Pretty simple stuff, really.

"Fun," Rory says dubiously. "I'm glad you came out okay," she adds, managing a wavery smile.

"Thanks for the concern! I appreciate it! How are you? This kind of stuff is probably kinda crazy to you. How are you holding up?"

"I'm...I'm okay. Physically. I ate some drugged cake and ended up thinking I was my friend Paris, who is really aggressive and stuff, and I shot a bunch of zombies, and Logan," she points slightly to the guy in the cot, "thought he was someone else, and he offended Paris - or me - and I - as Paris - kind of whacked him with the barrel of the gun and he hasn't woken up yet. But other than that, I'm great," she says, barely pausing for breath.

Egads! And I thought those bullets gave me a headache! You've had a crazier night than me and I was in the middle of a zombie inferno!

"Yeah, well, you're also used to this kind of thing, right?" she asks, arching a brow.

Well, this is my first zombie inferno. But I have an archnemesis with a chair for a face, so "crazy" is a relative term to me.

"A...chair?" Rory asks incredulously. "I...I can't even process all the responses I have to that."

He tried to burn his name into the moon once. I always thought he was kinda weird.

"I'm inclined to agree," Rory says, stretching. "Oh, you're still holding tryouts for sidekicks, right? Because if you are, I might run a little late."

Yep, that's tomorrow. And don't worry, I'll be out there all day hosting the tryouts! There will be plenty of time!

Just try to avoid the burning zombie corpses if they're not cleared out by then.

She laughs a little. "I'll do what I can. And I'll definitely show up. I just want to be here Sleepy here wakes up," she says, nodding affectionately towards Logan.

"But I'll be there for sure once I can leave here. After the past couple nights, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be bad at this whole sidekick thing."

Tick smiles. "You're a resourceful young woman and your heart is clearly in the right place. I'm sure you'll do just fine!"

"Plus, I have mad frying pan skillz," Rory says, "and apparently a very strong arm."

"I'll bring my pan, in that case. I think I'm going to go get something to eat, and some stuff from my room, so I guess I'll see you tomorrow? And I hope your head feels better," she adds, smiling.
