"Hi!" Rory says, leaping out of her chair. "Um, he got hit in the back of the head, and I think he was just put on painkillers. Anything else you can do?" she asks, slightly frantically.

*blinks*

*hunkers down to take a closer look*

He should be ok. I think. Not dying. I'd know...

"Yeah, I didn't think he was. DEATH gave him some pills, and we think he's going to be fine. Just out of it for a bit," she adds, looking down at Logan.

"Is it okay with you if I stay here tonight? I've got a little setup over in that chair," she says, pointing to a chair by the cot.

*pauses for a moment to consider the idea of DEATH giving out pills and shakes his head. Death was not supposed to be people...*

I can make him more comfortable. Help him rest.

But the girl...*points to Phoebe in another cot* Have to help her first, not sure what's wrong have to find out...

"Of course," Rory says distractedly, holding Logan's hand.

*Satisfied that Phoebe was not in pain and would be resting comfortably for the night, he turned his attention back to Rory and Logan*

*kneels down next to the cot, tugging his mask aside. Most of the area covered by the mask appears to be a lot of light, not a face. Holding the mask with one hand, he held the other over Logan's face for a few moments before buckling the mask back into place*

Should be fine. Not in pain, took the pain. Needs to rest. You should rest.

Rory isn't even fazed by the light. Of course this guy has a face of light. Why wouldn't he?

"So, he'll be fine? In that case, I think I'm going to go get a blanket and pillow from my room, and maybe something to eat. But I'll be back."

Rory returns, a cup of coffee in her hand, her journal and a pillow under her arm, and a blacket wrapped around her shoulders.

She pauses to gently run a finger along Logan's cheek, then curls up in the chair with her fortifications.
