A friend o mine has decided to join us here at the clinic.

Yes, I said friend. Believe it or not. I have a friend.,

His name is Dr James Wilson. He is a world renowned Oncologist.

He has a full wardrobe of the most horrific and nauseating ties you will ever see in your life.

If you want to be cool like Wilson, wear a pocket protector. Do not wear a tie like Wilson. I will cut it off and stuff it down your throat. Figuratively of course.

You will treat Dr Wilson (tooniceuglyties) wth respect, or you will cease to work at this clinic.Please refrain from flirting with him. Even if he starts it. It's a bad, bad, bad habit and he needs help not encouragement

Ummm... gremlins, plagues, a vicious tentacle monster, werewolves, vampires (although, I might have a crush on one), a fairly violent student body, a locker that eats people, and that's just the first course.

Yeah. There were some vaccines developed, but they gave one student wolfman hair in an allergic reaction, so we've discontinued them. The best you can do somedays is clean up peoples' bleeding wounds and give them condoms.

And don't threaten them with catheters. Believe me, it doesn't go well.

It's basically medicine out of the back of a stage coach.

Oh, and House hides all the good toys in the drawer of his desk. Not that I told you.

Oh right. She's from a different world. He shakes his head, rubs his jaw.

"A doctor who specialises in cancer. Which is..." Gah. How would you explain cancer to someone who doesn't know. "Do you knwo what Cancer is?"

"Um, it's a disease of some sort? I think I read in one of the books here," she indicates the clinic, "that it has something to do with cells which is what our bodies are composed off." Alanna sounds like most of the words are a bit strange to her.
