Libby grew up in a household where certain things were generally not discussed, and certain aspects of being a woman were considered a burden that they were expected to carry because of the fall of Eve, and so she had learned to mostly suffer in silence over certain things and push right past it.
But she worked with medical professionals now, who could spot a bad cramping day when they saw it, and so one of the nurses, helpfully, handed Libby something to help with a nod, a smile, and a knowing wink.
And Libby was left looking at the heating pad in her hand and then over at the tank on the front desk.
"This is so awkward on so many levels..."
But if she did end up wanting to just curl up around it under the desk and pretend no one else existed right now, then at least she knew the nurses would get it.
The Clinic is open!
