Stabby was reading when Stark got to the clinic.
"He owns books?" he asked. "I'm not sure I've seen him with a book before."
Stabby managed, somehow, to give Stark a withering look before turning back to his book.
"He reads sometimes," a nurse said. "When he's not doing other things. He's busy crab you know."
"I've noticed," Stark said. "Enjoy your book, Stabby."
The crab got a nod and the nurses got their coffees and Stark got settled at the desk.
The clinic was open, the crab was focused on his book, and the alien was in.
